Nah Tenten scroll is way better than water guns. I have all three and have compared them, Tenten scroll is honestly one if the best ranged weapons in the game.
@@Prince_Mammon But the tracking I feel like needs some work, or would you disagree? I even feel like the tracking on this Sai scroll is kinda off. I am not used to fighting from long range tho, so maybe that's why. I have always been an up close and personal kinda shinobi.
@XenoMartinez The Sai Scroll's tracking is definitely off. The Tenten isn't nearly as bad and is much more consistent. The issue with pure projectile weapons is how close an enemy is to the projectile. I've noticed that both the Tenten scroll and Sai scroll will both curve to hit enemies if they are close enough to the projectile, as long as the enemy is not right in your face. The issue is I've noticed the Tenten scrolls shurikens will curve much more frequently. The tracking isn't meant to be too strong or it'd be too hard to reach and fight a range using these weapons. Although I've noticed I am able to get the shurikens to hit enemies most of the time as long as I'm using them right, and have yet to get the Sai Scroll to do the same. The issue with water guns (given I haven't used them nearly as much) is I don't notice them ever really curving to hit the opponent. Overall Tenten scroll has a few innate advantages: 1. Each square is 3 shurikens, if one lands they're all hitting you. This makes building up combo counter extremely quick and easy for certain effects like the ranged accessory magic sack and the eyepatch one. 2. The time between you hitting the button and the time it takes for you to do the attack is much shorter on Tenten than the Sai scroll, which IMO is the biggest issue it currently has, too much delay between each projectile. 3. It has much better air combos than Sai's scroll 4. Its randomized ninja tools heavy attack is unironically one of the strongest things in the game. Every heavy spawns 3 random ninja tools, this can be paralysis kunai, blast bombs, smoke bombs, demon wind shurikens, and heal tags. These all reach pretty far, and the combinations can stun you enemies like crazy and do very good damage.

I know it's like that for the cast characters but I didn't realize it was like that for the special ninjutsu packs.
Honestly the best long range weapon I think are sasori puppet 3rd and water guns.
