- I am back with the all-new Mercedes Benz 2020 E450 Cabriolet Facelift, the perfect summer ride! 😍
In this video, we will be doing a short walkaround & will show you the driving experience with this New E Class Facelift on the German Autobahn & the Sound of the 2020 E Class Cabriolet!😜
''The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet are the particularly emotional representatives of the luxury-class model family. In the course of making them more attractive, the two dream cars are now becoming even more desirable. The design has been sharpened in a sporty way: the front sections in particular have been refreshed. The standard full-LED headlights have been given flatter housings, and the interior of the LED rear lights has been redesigned. At the same time, the two-door models take on the essential upgrades of the other body variants as part of the facelift. These include electrified and therefore more efficient engines than petrol and diesel with an integrated starter generator, the next generation of driver assistance systems, and the infotainment system MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience). The E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet will be available from European sales partners in autumn 2020.
The emotional appearance of the two dream cars has now been further enhanced in the course of making them more attractive. The E-Class Cabriolet with its classic soft top offers generous long-distance comfort for up to four people. And that all year round: on request, the Cabriolet can be equipped with the electric AIRCAP draft-stop system and the AIRSCARF neck-level heating. The standard acoustic hood also contributes to unrestricted year-round suitability - for the best noise comfort in the interior. Its multi-layer structure with extensive insulation also ensures climate comfort in all seasons and reduces wind and driving noise. This enables relaxed conversation in the vehicle even at higher speeds. With expressive coupé proportions, clear and sensual design, and comfort for four people, the E ‑ Class Coupé combines the beauty and classic virtues of a Gran Turismo with the latest technology.''

It’s equipped with a 270 HP in row 6 cylinder engine 9-G TRONIC transmission + 22 HP EQ boost which produces 500 Nm of Torque.
The 2020 E450 Cabriolet reaches 0-100 km/h (62mph) in 5,2 seconds.
The top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph)

This Cabriolet is just gorgeous! Smooth, minimalist lines with a subtle, classy interior. Also, that traffic lights camera is a great, very practical addition. Got me thinking of all the times I was too close and stuck under a traffic light I couldn't see. Love it.

You did it again, Mr. Benz. Amazing video. I am very jealous of you more than ever, because you get to experience the new E-Class family lineup already. It will be a few months until I can take them for the spin for a few days and have it in my home. I will be even more jealous of you when you get to experience the new S-Class this year possibly, while I have to wait for 2021 to drive it. Sad.
I mentioned in a previous comment that there is a cool new front LED feature on the E-Class, and that feature with how the high beam lights come on is what I was talking about! I have been waiting quite some time to see your reaction! I am so glad you like it! Also, the way in which the lights adapts to the traffic and the road has been improved for this facelift. Significant tweaks were made.
My thoughts on this cabriolet are the same as my thoughts on the sedan. I love it. But this one does not have my favourite new steering wheel. The sedan you reviewed did have it. I love this interior, but I do prefer the interior of the sedan in your other video a bit more. I would build this car with that interior, but with the changes I mentioned in the other comment. Even though I am more of a Mercedes-Benz sedan type person, but I love the cabriolet. I like the pink ambient lighting more with this interior. Weirdly, I have never got down to making the ambient lighting pink while I was with the GLE and other cars. There are so many lovely colours, so I forget. Maybe next time.
My few disappointments with the new E-Class sedan carries over to the cabriolet, unfortunately. No IWC Schaffhausen clock and a few plastics on the exterior you pointed out that were not there on the pre-facelift model. That's it. It's not anything I would lose sleep over, though.
The latest 48-volt anti-roll bar system and Integrierter Starter-Generator (ISG) from Mercedes-Benz is amazing. The new GLE and the new GLS are some of the earliest in the brand to have it...and it is also what makes the E-active Body Control works and also works with stereo multi-purpose camera, which is next to the traffic light camera behind the rear-view mirror. The ride is so smooth, so nice, and like a carpet thanks to the systems. Notice when the car accelerates it feels so gentle, effortless, and comfortable. It got that waft to it. Wow. I absolutely love it. The new S-Class with have the newest version, of course. There are some cool very detailed diagrams and breakdowns from Daimler showing how the new system works and looks like inside. Very cool stuff for me to geek over. Essentially...it makes the car more efficient, comfortable and smoother to drive.

I can't wait to get mine, sorta... 2023 is a winner. The steering wheel is super stylish and functional! I love the face lifted model's rear end. And side view, handsome. I've opted for the same wheels. I was torn between this and the 2024 CLE. I like the level of luxury and size of this 2023 better! I love the motor sounds at full throttle too! Thanks for taking it out on the autobahn.

The 450 is really quick even though it’s more a comfortable ride, check out the description for 0-100/0-60 stats
I have a 2019 e class coupe 450 and love it. It has the clock,but the previous steering wheel.0_60 is close to 5 seconds.

I would actually love the option not to put the ugly touch controller, and leave only the wheel controller. I disabled the touch from day 1 and I will never use that ugly piece of cheap plastic, that shades the nice wheel controller.
Also I would love the option not to put the *** **** analog clock. I almost didn't bought the car because of that clock!!

I love the update. I wonder how successful it would look with the elegance line with Mercedes star on the bonnet? For the coupe i like the central star but as the cabrio is a different beast, i think it would be befitting .

I don't understand why did they take away the watch. I mean, a car without a watch is fine, but leaving an ugly NOTHING there is totally unacceptable. It makes the beatiful interior incomplete! And it's happening to the new E63 and CLS.....such a shame
