Hello mam it's been three days I have used cosmelan treatment at home so I want to ask if I can apply moisturizer cream before or after cosmelan 2 cream ?
How long does the cosmelan 2 jar lasts?
I’ve always been concerned for myself because I swim out doors. I wear tons of sunscreen and reapply. I wear hats and stay in the shade as much as possible. I’m always conscious of the sun on my face and avoid as much as possible. Even 10 seconds of sun exposure could result in more pigmentation. Would I potentially make it worse doing this? I’m content to do it yearly.

Hi so I have underwent dermamelan treatment recently, its been 1.30 month and I have hardly seen any result in pigmentation, may be 10 to 20 % or skin glow .Is it very common?

I just finished watching your video on cosmelan.. I am presently seeing a dermatologist for the treatment of acne on my face and she placed me on accutine medication.. And she said i will do a cosmelan peel 2 weeks after I stopped the medication and from what I have read online it's not advisable... Although she said that she is doing the recommendation from experience... Do you think i should go ahead with her plan or i should wait 6 months before doing the peel?

I m undergoing a cosmelan treatment for 7 days my doctor said it will get over by 25 to 30 day's but after that she said we need to follow with cosmelan maintenance cream. Hi, I went to see a doctor who applies cosmelan. I didn't know it has kojic acid. I told the doctor that 20 years ago I had an allergic reaction to kojic acid; I had a little hiperpigmentation over my upper lip and after applying kojic acid for just one night, the day before I woke up with a very dark 'moustache' that was treated with hidroquinone by a different doctor. The cosmelan doctor answer was that I am not allergic to kojic acid, but that my 'moustache' was caused by an inflammatory reaction. Both things sound the same to me and I would like to know your opinion. I have been using kojic acid for two weeks on a small spot on my forehead where I have slight hiperpigmentation and I really think it has gotten darker. I guess the question is- could cosmelan make my hiperpigmentation worse due to my personal reaction to kojic acid?
I am not a docteur but please, listen to your body! If it’s bad reacting maybe it’s not good for you, today there’s a lot of acids on the market, I am sure you can find another that suits better your skin type!!

Hi, I am planning on having the cosmelan peel in clinic, I have been using the mesoestetic preparation kit, in particular one of the products (Brightening peel booster) contains glycolic acid, however it’s advised to stop using glycolic acid 1 week before the peel do I need to stop using this product 1 week before I have the cosmelan peel? If you only do cosmelan peel 1 but don't want to use cosmelan 2 cream...you can do it again after 6 months .

I just had the cosmelan peel and my provider did not give me the pre-prep creams 😮. He also didn’t do the face analyst 😮. He also said the after care is only 3-6 month. Now I am worried I wasn’t treated right. I had my 1st follow-up 7 days later (today) and my melasma does not seem any better actually seems worse. He said my face is lighter 😢. Did really say he seem a difference. Now I dont know what to do

How can you be sure it's Melasma because it's easily mistaken for PIH, I have Post Inflammatory hyperpigmentation and I don't need 12 months of treatment just 9. Also it's been 7 days your skin is peeling you should begin to see a difference 3-4 weeks after the peeling and continues as you use cosmelan 2

I have done this Cosmelan peel in Mar but I got back the pigmentation and dull skin. May I know what went wrong? I followed the same procedure as you had enumerated in this video but unsure the hydroquinone in the cosmelan 2 backfired.

In few days I have a wedding to attend and I really want to wear makeup. My therapist has advised not to but I’ve read on other websites I can wear makeup after 7/10 days. I’m not sure what to do if you can please help me as I have been waiting for this wedding for a long time and now I just dk what to do. I’m following my care routine everyday too
We usually recommend no makeup for at least two weeks after the peel, but if it can't be avoided it is advised to use mineral makeup only. However we also recommend consulting with your doctor or practitioner further about this matter and the peeling as though they would know your skin analysis in further detail.
