Dear Porsche, i am now 30 years old and i remember that my love for your brand began with exact that car when i was around 3 years old. after 27 years of unconditioned love for motorsports and in particular your brand i wanna say thank you... for staying so true to yourself and your fanbase. Hopefully when i finished my studies i can work for you one day and start to have my own small impact on the very company i have such a strong bond to since i can think. have a good one :D
Porsche's meetings be like ; "Guys ! Let's bring our most advanced supercar into the harshest rally raid race ever" BEST MARKETING MOVE EVER ! Imagine sending the 918 into Dakar ! OOF !

Great vid thanks for sharing , would love to see more about cars like this that were special cars to start with being a 959 but then like these only 6 of them were built . Keep up the good work
Can we have some footage of your first TRACTOR line ? I am fun of the Master, I know there are two more in different engine size. Knowing where the company came from helps to understand the car control behavior. Great content !
Wonderfull car with amazing performances. Sadly, today Claude Brasseur passed away. As a great actor, he was also a great co-pilot with Jacky Icks. Rip M Brasseur 🙏
Since you asked: I would like to see the handcraft involved in creating the rear quarter panel of the early 911/912/930, as I saw it was not created in the usual stamped steel. How the standard shape was controlled back then. 🤔
The top 5 Moments in the Porsche history of the sportscar championship 1953-1992, The top 5 backgrounds of the Dauer 962 of 1994, Top 5 of european hill climb championship.......
Beautiful car, great story. I don't mean to be critical, but it is obvious the script is a near direct translation from German to English. If you are going to release further videos, it would enhance the final product if the script was edited a bit to allow better 'flow' when read in the English language... perhaps give to Chris Harris to edit and narrate!
Well, to simply say that SINCE Porsche won in 1986, they didn't want to return in 1987 makes it seem like they make a soft weak, & pathetic move like Nico Rosberg did. Which is not a fair comparison. Porsche did not enter in 1987 for a myriad of reasons such as the the cancelation of the Group B class for which the car was designed. Nico Rosberg is just a weak little boy that knew he couldn't ever repeat another championship because he won it more because Hamilton had bad luck rather he had the talent, so he left to try & be remembered as a Champion. These two things really have nothing to do with each other. I just like making fun of Nico Rosberg, so if you have made it this far congratulations.

Try getting a 959 around the Nürburgring.
ooh yesss!! The legend.
@@Andrew9565-AD they are too valuable now for that.

Porsche makes the best videos about Porsche :) Best museum, best heritage, best traditions, cool advantages, what a cool company!
Hey, maybe something with Porsche - Diesel Tractors? Top Five Tractors! :) From Junior to Master!
the 908 series always fascinated me, please do a feature on this - it's not a 911 or a road car, but a wonderful little piece of Porsche history.
Beautiful paint and markings.
I've got the pleasure to see this car in Porsche Museum, Stuttgart. What a day!
Glorious Porsche - Model. Avantgarde sports car = Technologieträger
959 reminds me of my childhood, one of those poster cars we dreamed of!

Id love to see a modern day Porsche C4 Turbo done in the Rothmans colors just like the 959 Paris-Dakar.
...but I was amazed how strongly the Force was with him.
Fantastic car, made by great engineers.
No dislikes. Excellent!

I had this car on my wall as a kid : )
Legend 👑
Welcome back!
Love this car so much that I’ve imported a Hot wheels diecast of this model
Next year in the Dakar classic?

Imagine what a modern Porsche rally raid car will look like
Maybe a video of the Porsche 997 GT3 Rally🔥

How the standard shape was controlled back then. 🤔
So when did it start being called a Nine Fifty Nine?
Probably when they started calling it Pariss-D'kar - while technically not wrong it still pisses me off
It’s always been called that, why? 959, you say Nine Five Nine, or Nine Fifty Nine, doesn’t matter. 🙄
@@cyclhed no one calls it a 9 50 9. Do you call the 9 11 a 9 hundred and 11?
À video on the Kubel type all terrain would be nice
Nice video !
How about 9 minutes and 59 seconds of the Porsche 959 ASMR style in 4k?
The top 5 Moments in the Porsche history of the sportscar championship 1953-1992,

To Claude Brasseur (1936-2020).
I’d love to see how they changed the 911 turbo from rear wheel drive to all wheel drive. What was even the idea behind.
Traction bruh
@@rubenhaak2968 LOL I know
The thing is they never mentioned how they did the all wheel drive system.
I also like Porsche 959

Porsche 4x4?
Who could ask for more?
Not very clear chronological account for people who don't already know the race history. So, which years did Porsche enter Dakar and which did it win?
It's on early 80's..
959
Why don’t you do something about your all time most successful race car th 956-962
You pronounce it Da-Kar
Hmm doesnt ring a bell how come they claim its the most legendary car from dakar of all time
I want to see Porsche rallying again with a 911, not a Macan or Cayenne.
Engine nerds, aka Germans haha 💪
It’s not ‘da car’ it’s DAKAR
Hi
Bin that crap "music" !!!
