- Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet fashion tragedies reviewed! We had a few truly AMAZING looks but there were several big name designers that completely missed the mark. Plus, bizarre fashion fails from Umbrella Dresses, Pool floatie inspired fashion, a Macho Man Randy Savage dress & more giant man pants.

Does anyone remember The Carol Burnett Show when she used the curtains to make a dress?!? That's what the Margot Robbie dress reminds me of... She slid out of bed, in the little black dress she wore the night before, and grabbed the comforter and a pillow case - making a "dress/belt!" 🤣😂🤣

No kidding. Too much material, too much shoulder pads, a no waist look and a really ugly color. Love Meryl, but she should shoot her " stylist".
She could have won her 46th Oscar as Frump of the Year.
The other frumpy dress was in the total non- tailoring. The color wasn't hideous like Meryl's. Ugh.

I think many fashion designers just want to push buttons not make the wearer look beautiful. It reminds me of artists who will call a pile of elephant dung art as compared to a Monet.

And Alexander McQueen...I can't help but imagine the designers having different rags for their designs - one for "normal" celebrities and one for the Princess of Wales. It definitly looks like they put in a little more work with royal clothes.
Oh yes , as she her gowns are stunning , which is why I didn’t watch the BAFTAs without her presence. I love when she wears the real jewels too . Mine come from TEMU .
How is it possible these important designers don't understand that their shiny dresses will photograph so badly? After one celebrity suffers from flash lighting, how is it possible that it happens again and again at every one of these shows? Why doesn't every celebrity stylist know what Beebs (and all of us now!) know?

Brie Larson’s dress is Carmen Miranda meets millennial pink.
That skirt just drapes so elegantly and it’s paired with a Target tank top. She pulls it off though and have to say it’s a thousand times better than the crazy outfits we’ve seen lately.
When you showed the Kathryn Hahn dress, my immediate thought was that Meghan would love this dress. Awful look.

The trend Catherine started with having the opposite long gloves to her dress in black and white looked great, it's like they tried to copy it with a wrap/gloves with the opposite colour dress...and it didn't work, and the beige, with delicate flower, then a big ugly black band around the top that just looked like they ran out of material and thought..Oh well, we'll just use this!!!

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the tear in Halle Bailey’s skirt right in the front. I’m guessing she stepped on the dress and it tore at the seam. There probably wasn’t time to fix it, or nobody noticed it at the time, which is a shame.

Selena Gomez: that's the best she's looked in a long time! She's gorgeous. She should look great EVERY time. I blame whoever styles her.
She is very pretty. But she has serious medical issues and can gain and lose weight rapidly, depending on the medications.
The last thing I saw her in, that lime green thing was also way too tight and way too short. She should go for an A-line cut, with a fuller skirt. More forgiving.

She champions herself as the anti body shaming gal and then turns around and draws attention to her weight instead of saying nothing at all because it's no one else's business, let alone to be perpetuating that you should talk about your weight whenever you have any body changes and tell people what you ate as if to suggest you'd better explain yourself if you do, not to mention the worst of it when she filmed herself, bemoaning how she wanted to be "SKINNY!"

Of course, I’d never say that to anyone, and you couldn’t either! And no one ever chose poorly…the designer failed them. I’m constantly touched by your inner kindness, regardless of what you know to be true. You are remarkably insightful, excellent at your work, but probably more tender hearted when you’re a little unwell . I wouldn’t change a thing, and wish I knew you personally!

Some of these women so easily influenced that they let themselves get talked into wearing ugly atrocious dresses. A lot of these dresses I wouldn't have even tried on, let alone actually wear!
