Hello and thanks Jeff thanks for your kind words, its a very underestimated machine now and almost forgotten about now New models have arrived, its also come a very long way down in price, especially the Racer 2 version from the initial £700 down to around £420 which represents fantastic value, thanks again mrix
I absolutely love your videos. Very thorough and descriptive so, thanks for that. This Makro Racer just continues to impress the heck out of me! That coil is impressive and I totally believe it could go another 4-5" deeper. The only thing that upsets me about watching these videos on the Makro Racer is, I can't afford to buy one...heh. Don't misunderstand, it's worth every penny and in my opinion, is more impressive then machines at double the price. Keep on with the great video tests, guys.

It would be good if you made a video of the Makro Racer using the various ID Filters. The Racer performs phenomenally on All Metal Mode, it would be good to see its performance if the gain was put up to around 25-30.

Hi there sj, glad you managed a good deal with the large coil, I was very surprised myself today with this test and can see myself using the large coil a fair bit more than what I thought I would.
I did get a couple of high tones that turned out to be iron at 75, even out of the hole but were a bit crackly sounding so will learn to ignore in future. Great solid easy to use machine..

Hi there budwieser, the idea in my head at the time was to use the standard coil until it could no longer pick up a target then change to the large which was what I done, after we had finished the test my friend Richard also asked the same question as you, It just did not cross my mind at the time but yes I could of just checked the hoard hole as you say but unfortunately just did not think, I did decide to check that hole afterwards and there was no tone / signal being produced at all but seemed pointless adding a segment of video at that point because the whole point of the video was trying to maintain a live video with no breaks etc, if it had been any of of my normal tests I would of just re-run anything I forgot / missed but as you could see this test was a huge task and not something I wish to ever repeat again, cheers mrix

hi Stephen, I have never been much of a fan when it comes to these large coils but after this test but I can see now the large coil can be a very useful tool, especially if you want to get those deeper relics. Best of luck with it,,,,,mrix

Hi mrix im sure the standard coil would had targeted the hoard, to bad you didnt test it as doing it again would be hard with all these deep holes you dug cheers m8!
Hi there Dionisous, I can assure you I did kick myself afterwards thinking I should of checked the large hole but as already explained I had it in my mind to stop when the standard coil gave up, I am very methodical like that, maybe OCD lol etc, I did check the hole after we stopped filming and the standard coil could not reach that depth, I even tried when we had removed the soil and still nothing, I can see I may need to created another video just on that last hoard hole. The whole point was to keep the video running with no breaks, it would not of looked genuine if I had a break then tested with the standard coil on the deepest hole etc, its not a test I would want to repeat but I may create a small test on that last hoard hole next week so stay watching!, cheers mrix
