I've used the cs's for years they good Broadheads easy to sharpen and are sharper than the original montec's for sure.. good review

Carbon steel in knives have better edge retention and hold a edge and tougher than regular stainless
Don't feel bad. You know you got the real thing, not a fake when you open the box and you wonder why your bleeding. Done it a few times. Line em up with the veins if your setting your inserts and spin them to see if they're real. Never had a bad one.
Hatfished!! LOL....I agree with the sharpness of the originals. It's like you had to practice on when to stop sharpening or lose the sharpness. LOL ....When I bought the Montec's a few years ago, I was only going to put one on the one arrow I carry for hogs, while I'm deer hunting. But they fly true and though its only a 1 inch cut, it takes a plug out of the wound. I deer hunt with them as well now. Good video.
Magnus Stinger fan here....USA made and no questions asked lifetime warranty. I tried montecs years ago and couldn’t get them sharp to my liking
These get sharp sharp.
Magnus is awesome. American made. The ss snuffers or the carbon steel snuffers in my testing and opinion seem to be a littler better than the Montec. Seem to fly better in my setup at least.
@@briangammons8242 I wouldn’t mind trying another version head as long as it’s by Magnus. If they eventually make the Snuffer in 150gr I would absolutely try them
@@TheMichiganShow I searched a long time for a durable fixed blade that was accurate. In my setup the stingers are like laser beams. I wish the company was more in the spotlight because they do have excellent customer service and they make great products that are dependable and durable. I have no worries going to woods with Magnus heads. I just mainly hunt white tails and don’t necessarily need the larger grain heads but the ones I have tested are exceptional in my opinion. I hope they offer you a 150 gr in the future.

Yea I just restarted getting back into archery. Whent to my bownshop to get a new string saw the montec and liked the construction bought them started to sharpen them could not get them sharp enough imo. Glad I'm not the only one with issues with them.

@@PrivilegedBowhunter switched from fixed G5s to grim reaper mechanicals 2 years ago because I hated resighting my bow. Harvested deer but mech blade heads never survived the kill. I may try those CS next season. Thanks for the content!

They are good heads but they also rust... so thats a no go anywhere in the west. The original g5's usually need sharpened but they are solid af and get the job done.
True, just have to keep them oiled
Not quite good enough steel. Couldn’t get them really shaving sharp. Very close and probably plenty good. I shot several turkey no problem but never had confidence on trying to kill a deer. I will use them on pigs and see how they hold up.
I don't shoot them anymore, I'm pretty much exclusively Ironwill wides
