I fucking love music. If someone told me I would have to pick one song to listen to for the rest of my life, I would be devastated, but I would pick this one.
I heard this piece on the radio and it gave me chills. What a twist! Non stop energy! the whole neighborhood must hear me when I praise this song. lol thank you God in Jesus. thank you Gaelic Storm.
Got to see them in concert over 4th of July weekend this summer at our 'Riverfront Rendezvous' and they were AMAZING! Phenomenal musicians and overall just hilarious characters :D
I don't know what commercial everyone else gets, but I got the "Like A Girl" ad and it makes my heart soar. And then it's followed by some awesome music.
This song is absolutely amazing! Glad I finally found the studio version :D Live is nice and all, but not when it's recorded from a cell phone in the nose bleeds I:
"Alexa, intruder alert!" Set floor lamp to 100% green Set volume to 100 Say "Póg mo thóin you fecking cunt!" Play "Samarai" Set by Gaelic Storm starting at 1:20
Alasdair Martin 4 years late but maybe this comment helps someone else. I believe the first part is the famous reel "Sleepy Maggie" (not Drowsy, totally different reel, heh) played rather aggressively and with style. Would be interested to know the name of the 2nd part if you're still around.
Wow! Forgot this after 10 years, thanks for commenting. Heck of a long time. Thanks all! As for the other tune, think I've cracked it. Pretty sure now that the fiddler is playing the Green Groves of Erin. Bruce Gandy has a setting in Bill Livingstones first book for the pipes (plays it in his Live in Ireland solo if I'm not mistaken).
Not sure where my other comment went! Lol. I realized it’s the same reel “Green Groves of Erin”- played by Tommy Peoples on his vintage album “The High Part Of The Road” from 1976 I believe…

Love this song for so many reasons, one of those songs that does not require lyrics yet the message is clear
atroxwolf That a Japanese and an irish guy walk into a bar and get drunk, then best the piss out of everyone else?

This song is so awesome and uplifting! YEAH!!! #CelticMusic

Okay, these guys are officially my new favorites!
Finally, this song is on UA-cam!
Gaelic Storm is awesome! (:

DANG!
LOVE THIS!!
That´s an amazing song!
this sounds like music you'd play for a chase sequence
Metal-Max1991 or a wild roll down a hill
I would play this at my wedding..
With the permission of the irish authorities of course :D
Sonsho No need for that lol
how badass is this song?
drummertimmy100 100 times more badasa than Chuck Norris, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Wayne Gretzky all combined.
Irish music is the best :)
I believe this is Scottish…if not a mixture
The tune that starts off with the fiddle is ‘The Green Groves of Erin’ fyi
Better yet, this seems like the music to be played during a bar fight between some Irish, Scottish, and Japanese guys.
Metal-Max1991 Ikr
Good song to get in a bar fight with :D

Any pipers know where I can find that first (at least, I think it is two tunes as I've played what I believe to be the second) tune's sheet music?

Hmm the fiddle tune doesn’t sound like Sleepy Maggie to me… the part with the pipes coming on is sleepy Maggie though
