    Hi Jaeson,
I really appreciate you and the FLX team taking the time to develop this video and other videos. I am so thankful that we have these but for someone who is not mechanically inclined, this is, needless to say, overwhelming.
I am fearful that by the time I need to replace the batteries in our 2 bikes (that we are anticipating their arrival) technology may have changed and we will not be able to have the proper replacements or a new bike will be available with easier parts replacement.
I am still happy with the purchase of our 2 bikes, so please don’t take my comments as being negative, just concerned.
Can’t wait to receive our Babymakers and begin the fun.
I guess on the positive side, we only live about 2 hours from your shop so it might just be a nice day trip.
    Keep up the great work.

Hey Clark! Apologies for that, your order took longer than expected to ship.
We sincerely understand your point. But if you do have more questions or concerns, feel free to reach us out at support@flx.bike.
Our team can better communicate with you through email. And don't forget to check your spam folder for their reply. You can also visit our campaign page on Indiegogo and watch some of our UA-cam videos for more information and updates.
It's truly worth the wait, thank you for patiently waiting.

What conditions would require battery replacement? It's a little concerning that there are videos on this for brand new bikes.

No battery lasts forever and we wanted to get ahead of the problem for when riders do find it necessary to make the battery swap.

The two screws in the frame. Do we have to take out first. There is a mention of them in the middle of the video.

The yellow, blue and red wires look like they are permanently attached with a sealed cover; do I cut open the covers? Thanks

The battery is somewhat triangular in its section - my question: is there a place for a 4mm shifting cable housing next to a battery? I would like to insert one another cable inside of the frame. Regards!

angled tube question - if you lay your bike on its side and loosen the screws to put on cage will this prevent a shift in the battery? and do you need a different bolt sizes: there is a sticker stating to use 20mm bolts if installing on the down tube. The stock ones are 18mm M5 socket head bolts. ? use 20mm to make up for the thickness of the cage.

Why is he saying "Phase wires" at 15:39? This bikes runs on 36VDC and the term "phase" is typically used to indicate AC voltage (which it's obviously not). Moreover there's already an exclusive power cable for the +/- so I'm wondering what it is those wires are actually used for. Looking to slightly mod mine and void the warranty when it ships here tomorrow ✌

    • @superhumanbikes
      @superhumanbikes  2 роки тому +1

Hi Jo, the battery of BM II (has a larger battery) is not compatible to the Babymaker I, which means you can't upgrade it to BM II.

@@superhumanbikes thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Can I buy a spare BM pro battery and save? I really want to keep this bike as long as possible. Is that advisable?

Been trying to get an answer to this question for a while. Can't seem to find any solid answer. I own one of your Babymaker bikes. Question is if the bike is fully charged and due to inclement weather / temperatures and whatnot the bike cannot be ridden for a lengthy period of time how can you discharge the battery so that it is not sitting at a full charge for a lengthy period of time multiple weeks to a couple months? And if there's no way to do it will the battery be damaged if it is left sitting at full charge for a long period of time?

As a owner that has removed there battery, this video does cause me a little concern. When I removed the battery the plastic piece was not taped to the battery and only half as long as long as the one in this video. It didn’t come out with the battery and had to turn the bike upside down to get it to fall out. I would expect in a production like this, they would all be the same.
