Glad you think so 😁 Yes the coats issue was one of the main priorities when designing the van 😊 just a shame the walking boot space isn’t big enough for more than one pair! 😄
One of the best conversions I have seen, simple materials. I would and indeed have gone for a R&R bed and kept the twin passenger seat, which swivels and the dog sleeps on, but otherwise I agree. Simplicity is the key to success in any venture. We opted for no second battery system, or solar and have never needed it, but if you use a laptop you will..and the diesel heater too. So well done on a neat job.
Thank you! Yeah we considered all that but the single seat is so much comfier 😁 agree on the battery too but I needed it for editing and my camera. But we didn’t have any electronic system in our last conversion! Glad you liked it 😊
It looks practical and cosy. A few questions please: where is the diesel tank for the diesel heater? Where is the fridge? And 113 cm bed width for two people seems very narrow?
We connected the diesel heater directly to the diesel tank for running the van to save space. We don’t have a fridge as we wanted to cupboard space for storage. The bed width is up to personal preference really, we’ve been absolutely fine with it and preferred to have bigger cupboards over wider bed personally 😊
Sorry for the late reply and This might be a bit late now! But it’s hard to say exactly as we reconverted it, the insulation was already done. For this one we worked on it for about a month I think, around work 😊 the working time condensed wasn’t that long really!
nice use of space. the 1st converted camper van video that's actually addressed where to hang wet coat when back from walk 10/10

Best video explanation I’ve watched, great information and great vision for setting your van up thank you

Hey Brook, love your design. How long did it take you in total to convert it?
