Hakai just lets you erase people you can already beat anyway. I doubt the GoDs could Hakai Jiren. Decay ignores durability. In its verse nothing can overpower it so it’s way more broken. The only hope anyone ever has of fighting shigaraki is to use aizawa to erase it.

It would have gone way worse if he had not separated from the people he was with.
This was an epic moment, after all this is a reminder that while Deku is training to be the next greatest hero of all time, Shigaraki is training to be the next greatest villain of all time.
It was cooler in the manga where he kills x-less, destroys an entire city, and steals his cape all in one motion. Making it feel more like Shigi legit killed hundreds of people because he was cold.
I don't doubt that it might be cooler in the manga. But this scene, with the slowed down version of the symbol of fear ost, the sheer dread on everyone's face, the spread of decay and their failures at stopping it. While I was watching the scene I genuinely felt afraid. I definitely don't think I could've got that from the manga.

I like all for one though. he is a good example of what I like in a villan. orochimaru, pain, aizen, light yagami. those are the villains I like in a anime. but my hero academia is getting really good though.

Like what kind of a professional is this guy, complete lack of awareness and he is somehow on the Elite Team for pro heroes.
