The scene I believe exemplifies it the most is when Shiggy holds Deku hostage at the mall. Now, that scene also shows the broken nature of the hero society. But, the very *idea* of the villain going to the *hero* for help is absolutely insane! It shouldn't work/shouldn't be a thing! But it does! It's such a masterpiece of a scene and was *the* scene that made me fall in love with mha. For some people, Todoroki vs. Deku was *their* scene. For others it was Deku, Ida, and Todoroki vs. Stain. But for me, Shiggy talking to Deku at the mall was it.
7 years of build up. i literally didnt care about him all these years when he was some emo goof until we got his backstory in s5e23 which frankly saved the entire show at that point and then the following episode where he fully awakened from rememebring that tragic past. since then, he has brought MHA to the big leagues. First half of S6 was a near enough 10/10 all due to him

He's definitely the most knowledgeable person about quirks in MHA because of literal decades of research... like he even theorized about the quirk singularity generations before it started to become a problem.
Well, yeah, all for one wouldn't even have had half as many quirks as he had if he hadn't met the doctor. Also, he wouldn't have lived this long without the doctor's quirk or experiment, either. Shiggy wouldn't even come close to threaten the like of hawks or edgeshot much less endeavor or deku without the doctor. The nomu wouldn't even exist. Touya would have died as well.
Bruh this is unlike others, these villains are unique, not reckless, not dumb and clumsy. They are intelligent enough, powerful. This is perfect, Villains are much stronger than Heroes, plus villains are great-- INCREDIBLE!!
Shigaraki's speech is even more true when you consider the fact that Endeavor and the named heroes in the hospital quickly ignored the other heroes present in the hospital who definitely couldn't escape Decay except for Crust. While protecting themselves is the practical solution, and they could only save as much as they could, the heroes in the hospital that had no chance of escaping deserve an F for that *MASSIVE* L.
Basically did to one city what Thanos did to half the entire universe. And YET. This one has SO MUCH MORE IMPACT. My heart literally dropped when the wave swept through the city and the people running in terror just started crumbling. MCU and DCU step up your game.
This is the exact reason i love MHA! You put a bunch of characters in a situation that make them all panic and it becomes the most tense scene ever. MHA has a lot of these because they love people setting up plans but the plans go wrong, so when both sides got nothing it's just a brawl
They both were masterpieces in their own right. What Shigaraki did was more impactful because you could instantly feel the amount of devastation he caused in 1 move. Thanos move, however, didnt just affect a small area on a small planet, but the entirety of the cosmos. We werent able to see it, but we have the knowledge that half of life was wiped out, and afterwards plenty more had also died due to the loss of key figures because of said wipe.
I'm glad people are starting to realize how great MHA is again because this and may truly is one of the best new gen shows you're going to watch. Sorry not sorry 😁
I do believe that the theme that was used for the destruction of Jaku was a slower, more dramatic version of Symbol of Fear. Ngl tho I'm having massive chills seeing the scene all over again with Symbol of Fear in the back. Props, mate!

This scene was honestly horrifying to watch for me, such immense destruction that couldn’t be stopped, hell couldn’t even be slowed for more than a second Shigaraki really became one of the most powerful characters in MHA in this moment
i think he became outright the most powerful here. i mean quirkless shigaraki due to aizawa was fighting the number 1 hero with ease + 10 others. Crazy

None of them ever compares to shigaraki who literally does everything better than them in terms of sheer writing as a character
The way you edit it this way showing all destruction in a flash as every hero do everything they can to run, survive and save people along with distress and panic was genuinely terrifying. Stand proud, you cooked.

You know, the thing is we actually know deku wins in the end, because my hero academia is the story of her deku becomes the greatest hero ever, so it’ll be interesting to see how this turns out
incredible how Tomura went from being nearly a comic-relief level of villain to being the biggest menace of the whole series. That sensation of being overwhelmed, the sheer pressure of power that even bringing the best of the best, they can't even stop him not even a little.
My heart sinks watching the heroes grab every civilian they can carry. It's not what I'm seeing, but what I'm not seeing that makes me feel that. I can't help but wonder how many people they couldn't grab because they weren't on the right street, or stuck in a building, or just generally unprepared for what happened. Sure, not that many named characters died, but you know that many people, probably children among them, have died.
I didn't had many hopes for this arc, but holy fuck, things escalate SO MASSIVELY it's unbelievable it ended with some characters alive. I guess that's the despair they wish to bring to the heroes, eh?
When I first saw this scene, I thought long and hard and realized something. All of this, all the death and destruction, it’s all the heroes’ fault. Call me Joker, but their society is the reason someone like Shigaraki even exists.

Just think, that attack is weaker than a nuclear bomb… and we have those right now. We’ve even used those on others, and people are threatening nuclear war to this day so that they can carry out territorial expansion.
Tbf, nuclear warheads are indiscriminate in its destruction, are very expensive, and not easy to launch. While shigraki could just wipe out an entire city whenever he feels like it, all he needs is just some food and rest before he could go again, he could selectively decay stuffs as well so he would be more efficient as a weapon to use in an invasion cause using nukes would render whatever territory you want to claim to be inhospitable. Also, he could have children, or the doctor could clone him or at least his quirk, whereas nukes are still reliant on finite resources, so at one point or another, we would run out of resources to build one(atleast on this planet).
When I saw tis I was like DANG SHIG. He jus woke up in the matter of secs. Then touch the ground then bang evrything was decaying, most the heroes didnt make it. The rest outside. Shoto used his ice to stop it for a sec. Kacchan literally was holding citizens with his legs and passing them to Deku and Uraraka in the bus while flying as a rocket. Evrybody was running. Then it zooms out in on the citys cameras all u see is static from when they're destroyed, then at satellite range, the destruction capacity was an atomic bomb. Then calms down after. Jeez big tension here. Shigaraki my fav villain the whole series.
Ah the beginning of my: Getting real tired, of this villain humping. Heroes finally get a needed level up, well to bad... b/c villains get ten levels, for heroes every single level. Rinse, repeat. If MHA was the only one doing this right now. I'd be fine... but for me, a few of my readings/watching's are doing this. And honestly, I'm not even angry or mad... I'm just sadly board of it.

He went from team-rocket from pokemon level of menace straight out to fricking Hao Asakura from Shaman King, if not more dangerous.
