Christian Young went undrafted last year and finished the season on Green Bay’s practice squad. Christian Young spent most of his collegiate career at Arizona playing safety. That includes starting all 12 games as a 5th-year senior in 2022, when he set career highs of 76 tackles and 6.5 tackles for losses. Christian Young’s got good speed with a 4.60 in the 40-yard dash but his Relative Athletic Score (RAS) was only 4.04. His father played college basketball. With the Green Bay Packers drafting Edgerrin Cooper and Ty’Ron Hopper with Day 2 selections, Christian Young will be challenging to make the team. However, veterans Eric Wilson and Kristian Welch are back on only 1-year deals, so an impressive training camp could make him an appealing developmental candidate. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
Can’t wait to see Kitan Oladapo in green and gold! GO BEAVS

He should be, Andy is a professional scout and knows exactly what he is talking about, brilliant stuff.
Andy makes an excellent point about the WR position. I was under the impression the Packers would keep 6 WR, but I’m not so sure. The 6 receiver would be Heath, but as Andy said Heath had to be scratched on a few occasions last yr because of needed numbers at other positions. I think that same dynamic will be at play this year. The Packers are gonna keep 3 RB, 4 TE, with Musgrave and Kraft getting more snaps in the offense, and Heath doesn’t play special teams. I think the Packers will only keep 5 WR.
Andy, you probably should put a disclaimer in this broadcast that this list is not the official list, some of your listeners have so much respect for your opinions that they
In my opinion, Henry Pearson is not going to make the initial 53. However, he will be the first call-up from the PS, and will be used as many times as allowed, then added as a permanent member of the 53. This allows the team to protect a player from the initial FA/PS feeding frenzy, before releasing them and then bringing them back to their PS.
Andy don’t forget the some players will get injured in training camp and in preseason games , so you never know for sure who will make the 53 man squad .
Thank you Andy

I love andy but his absolute hate for aj dillon is fucking crazy to me. I get he had an underwhelming 2023 but man he was solid in 21 and 22. Nearly 1000 yards all purpose in both seasons as a rotational back. Thats fucking solid man.
Yet he was an unrestricted free agent, could have signed with any team, signed for only $167k guaranteed and watched while the Packers signed Josh Jacobs and drafted a running back in the 3rd round... he has limited value in the modern NFL. The contract is great for the Packers. Green Bay was right to sign him to that deal. I'm excited he's back and I expect him to win the #3 RB job and he could even win #2 if Lynch struggles with pass pro - but especially after the year he had last year I completely stand by the ranking and based on his value on the open market - the rest of the NFL did too...
@PackADayPodcast I totally get that opinion if it was coming from a more outsider prospective. Like I'd expect a vikings fan or a bears fan to think that way because of his struggled last seasons but idk man. Just looking at his total body of work for us I think you are really underselling his value to this team. Josh jacobs similarly struggled last season and we give him a pass because we understand that it isn't all on the runningback. Scheme and a teams ability to run block are keys in a runningbacks success. They tried to run dillion on a ton of thar outside zone shit that jones is great at because that's what they are good at and they couldn't get enough push upfront to run more power which is what would have been more advantageous for Dillons skill set when he was the lead back. But look at his production on a less then 50% snap share with Aaron jones in 21 and 22. He was good!. And maybe that's all he is a committee back that needs a more explosive compliment but imo that's extremely valuable.
@PackADayPodcast I appreciate the response btw man. Daily listener. Keep up the great work. Go pack go
Core special teamer is not a positive. Since special teams are terrible why keep any of them?
Lol. Some truth there
Dillon is top 15 player on this team u have players like Ryan Hopper , ballentine , Heath etc etc higher than Dillon this is insane 😅 I like your list but Dillon at 41 is completely insane
Love, Jackops, Jenkins, Tom, Gary, Smith, Clark, Xavier, Watson, Doubs, Reed, muskgrave, nixson, LVN, Walker. There is 15 in no particular order. Can you honestly say Dillon makes a bigger impact than anyone on that list this year? He is not a too 15 player on this team. You can argue 41 is low but top 15 is wild.
41 is wild but he not 15 neither
@@AR-ut8tltop 20 is realistic
@@AR-ut8tl he had 800 total yards in 2023 and he missed two games no way he’s 41 or not top 20
@@AR-ut8tloffensive players over him I will say Jacobs , Love , Tom , Jenkins , Myers the four receivers on defense Jaire , X , Gary ,Clark , smith and Walker that’s all the players rated higher than him how is he not top 20 😂
Dillion is the number 2 running back he’s a power back and knows the system wish u guys stop saying he will be competing for the third spot with Wilson that’s completely false
It's not. You are just being delusional.
@@SilverShadow12339yea ok 👌
@@SilverShadow12339anybody thinking Dillion not the number 2 is delusional u think a running back that fumble alot and can’t block just going to come take Dillion spot 😅 I will make sure I come back here week 1 just to say I told you so
@GoosbyGoosby you are acting like an emotional baby. I'm not saying he won't be the number 2, but it's not guaranteed.
I think they will be 2a and 2B. Both are such different backs that touches will come down to game script. He’s competing with RB3 options due to draft capital and future potential meaning Lloyd is on the roster no matter what. AJ comping with Lloyd for touches and other rb3 options for roster spot.
