What I really loke about the glove throwing scene is that after he throws it Akechi almost immediately puts his hand behind his back. I love this not because of anything symbolic but because if you watch closely in that split second the glove reappears on his hand before he puts in behind him. This is just because they didn't want to go through the extra trouble of making an Akechi model without his glove only to be used in one scene.
The fact that he says all this during the period where he’s pretending to work with you is hilarious. I imagine Joker is rolling his eyes as he’s listening to this. Like dude, are you even trying to hide it?

The weird and awesome thing about it is that they tried to pull a vegeta on Akechi where he finds you anoying but at the same time things of you as a worthy rival to overcome. I think this could have been handled a little better if he wasn't so pasive agresive with Joker because at times you don't know in what spectre of the bond he shares with him he falls into, but maybe that's the idea, however some of his interactions can be...desorienting

To be fair they could easily just pull that off with a mesh swap of the hand or a material swap. No need for an entirely separate model.
