That's the one major advantage to being in so many wars so early on. The composure in the crazy moments, even when you're hurt.
For real. The moments early on where Fiziev would CRACK him and Justin would get right back in his face. The only other person I can compare that willingness to scrap to is Alex Pereira!

yeah he landed those power jabs and it threw Fiziev's timing off and then he just put it on him. But there was no looser in that fight, Fiziev did well for his first big event, and against Geathje of all. Both beasts
Justin adjustment to stop throwing overhands and use straight power jabs and uppercuts was impressive.

Man after the first round I thought that Fiziev got him, but Justin showed he's an absolute dog especially when he got back to his technical self.
That was a really entertaining fight, both guys showed world class striking !

Exactly. Actually by the second round I was jumping out of my seat yelling when Justin started doing damage. By round 3 it was a complete domination by Justin.

all this to end up with Islam snapping his arm or choking him out. I like Justin but how has his IQ improved. He made great adjustments but he was doing that back when he fought Tony as well. He still getting into brawls and blocking a lot of punches with his face. Still doesnt use his all-american wrestling offensively and thank to Khabib we know why..... he knows as much about BJJ as Anthony Joshua. Seems like the same flawed fighter, difference is he got an inexperienced Fiziev who may not be the monster we thought he was. Only plus side is we are closer to the Paddy Pimblet vs Fiziev fight i really want to see......

Justin gets cracked and rocked multiple times almost every fight and never has a scratch on him. Check out his and Michael chandler's faces after their fight. He just doesn't seem to show damage, they should make planes out of whatever his face is made out of

This was the smartest fight he’s ever fought in the UFC. He kept Fiziev at a comfortable distance knowing that he is shorter and later switched to his jab which was very effective. To top it all off, instead of risking the last 10 seconds and giving Fiziev a chance for a hail mary, he took him down 😀
If that was 5 rounds he would have killed Fiziev

I think it would had been stopped by the doc after 1 more round because he was busting up Fiziev right eye badly
If it was 5 round Fiziev would've fought with different pace. Without that eyepoke gaethje was losing

At one point I did think Justin was overrated, but if you look at who he's lost and how fun his fights usually are, it's only to former champions or interim champions.
