I have had the Ping 7 Wood in my bag for a few years now. I love the club. Great review. I actually carry a Ping 5, 7 and 9 Woods and a Callway 11 Wood. Great combination.
16 handicap. I’ve tried very nice Titleist hybrids but just can’t get on with them. So, from a used-club website I got Callaway Big Bertha 2004 7 wood for £18:99 .Averaging 155 yards off the deck. I’m having a chat with our pro about newer 7 woods. Don’t tell my wife!!
I have a 7 and 9 wood. The 9 is unbelievable very high flight with stopping power. People laughed and said it was a Ladies club ..... then they saw the results. Funny the laughing stopped.
I recently fell in love with high lifted fairway woods. My setup is Driver-stealth 2 is 6* 3 wood-stealth plus-13.5* 5 wood- radspeed-18.5* 7 wood-speedzone-22.5* 9 wood- speedzone-27*(female head) x-stiff shaft. 13 wood-2004 callaway bb-31* Golf is so much easier now. I have all distances covered with those clubs from 200-330 yards.
I've just bought a 7 wood today because I just cannot hit driver or 3 wood for the life of me. I tend to keep using my 4 Iron for teeing off which gets me 170 yards.
I run my Dad's old BB Warbird 7 "Heavenwood" and a P-UDI 2 Iron. The Heavenwood is essentially my get out of jail free card. The 2 iron is for those crazy wendy days and I need low ball flight or if the ground is hard on a downhill slope. Rolls like crazy. Both have their purpose but the Heavenwood definitely gets more usage.
@@GolfmagicPlus I didn't make that up. The club comes with that stamped on it and a head over with it on it too. The 2 Wood has a nickname too with a matching headcover. "The Duece"
You could test 7woods through the years to see what if any technology has changed them. I have Blue rogue 7 wood and my son has the latest Srixon 7 wood. Same shafts in each. But my era wood goes 220-230 yards every time. But my sons goes 205-225 yards. Accuracy is exactly the same you can make pin high from this distance, so great have in the bag. I would love to the latest offer tested against 5-10 year old offerings.
Such a good and versatile club like you say. I have the original stealth 7 wood in stiff. Love to attack greens with it at around 200 yards. Use it off the tee as well on occasion, very reliable. Straight, high ball flight that will go over trees easily when needed. I recommend to every new golfer, easy to hit! I need to try and get a lower flight as well like you do!

7 wood lands like a butterfly with bruised feet. I love this club. Throwing darts onto greens.
I can't hit a 3 wood, so I have a 5 wood head with a 3 wood shaft. I also have a 7 wood head with the 5 wood shaft. Big fan of both.

Best club I’ve ever bought. So confident with it . High fly and soft landing . Very versatile also.
Great to hear!
Yes, I have 7 Wood. Been using it for quite some time now on Par 5, Par 4, and long Par 3s. ☺
Love it!

A 13 wood??? Dang, you like your woods mate
@CAM-hc8ip they are just so much easier to hit. I highly recommend higher lifted woods, maybe not the 13 wood but for sure, 7 and 9 woods.
Hit this club of a mat in golf store. Was hitting it 190 yards. So easy to hit
7 and 5 wood in the bag. Love my 5 best.

I have both
did you tee it up on the second tee box?
I did not
Never once seen Spieth use a 7 wood lol. He uses a 4 hybrid.
I’ve got the 430 7w and it’s my go to club, I just feel so confident with it that I’ve taken my 5w out of the bag because of it 🏌🏼♂️👍🏼
love it!
