I just wasn’t a big fan of the interior either. The King Ranch from the other day, was much more attractive, to Me. Still, it is amazing how good the big 3 HD trucks are! These things are better than most Cadillacs!
You can have the carpet deleted, and have all weather flooring instead. I believe there are different interior color options as well. I personally like the blue/slate combo. I would go with the red metallic paint job though.
No you can not. I ordered a limited and there is no color option for limited. Bs cause that color is ugly and doesn't go with the rapid red I ordered so I'll be redoing the interior. You can get the all weather flooring tho
Have to agree with you on the interior of this Limited F450. Ford phoned it in. Tons of cheap plastic everywhere. Just some diamond stitched seat covers on an XLT interior. To be fair, it's the same with Ram. The Limited interior is essentially the exact same thing as the Laramie interior, just with some different piping. In the Ford, the King Ranch and Lariat Carmello interiors looks superior to this Limited. In the Ram, the Longhorn black & tan interior with the wood trim just knocks it out of the park.
That thing is a unicorn. Please capture it so Ford can study it and figure out how to replicate it.... Seriously im shocked you actually got to see an touch one given the issues Ford had had building these high trim super duties. Lots of folks myself included ordered 2023's almost a year ago and still have no build dates and no truck. That wait time is why i now own a GMC....
That may be the truck that i cancelled just a few weeks ago. I instead picked up 2023 Ram 3500 Limited DRW Pearl White Crew Cab Night Edition 8 ft bed 4.1.. it is my daily driver and I am coming off 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 Lariat 8 ft bed. My Ram already comes with TPMS, Auto Leveling Rear Air Suspension. Interior on Ram is much modern, quiet. Turbo is quiet, AC fan is quite. Cabin is so quiet, many have paid compliment and surprised that i am talking to them from inside cabin of Ram. Truck rides more smooth. I look at my TPMS. Now things that I miss not having F450 Limited. Ford has 1) much better white paint... 2) G rated tires - more puncture resistent 3) weight scale 4) Wide front axle turning. so at the end, Ram will have lots less drama. cheaper tires, easy to find the tire shop.. no centramatic needed.. no need to install TPMS. I do miss not having F450 TPMS, but for me, Ram is easier truck to maintain. Ford sells better longer warranty 10 year 175k miles. Ram only sells 8 year 125 k warranty
That's an awesome truck for carrying not for towing. That's why the earthrommers and others use the 450s and up. I'll stick to the 250 and 350 / 2500HD and 3500HD for towing. Prices are unbelievably terrible!!!!!
Agree the interior looks cheap for the price but the seats are amazingly comfortable. I recently purchased this truck and so far I love it. I’m missing an arm and a leg and had to work 2 jobs plus a paper route to afford it
Honestly other than the tailgate down camera and sensors, which I believe are available on KR and above, I don't see any real benefit of going with this rather than a Lariat with the Ultimate package, and saving $20K.
Umm….most think the market is down….or going down…probably applies to used and current inventory rather than these ordered…but still…I always wonder about all those HD trucks that were piling up at Kentucky horse tracks waiting on servos and relays etc…has that wave of unbought or unbuilt inventory hit yet🤷♂️
Like you JB I’m not a fan of the interior color combination. But then we didn’t order it thank goodness. The standard equipment and options were awesome. I would have ordered the spray in Berliner though. I like the Limited way better than the King Ranch or the platinum. Thanks for the review brother.
Wrong truck for that. This is a working man’s truck. If you want a truck for that get gmc 😂😂 ford has always and will always be number t1 with the highest towing capacity and pay load.

Your trailer has a dry pin weight of 4700lbs. 450s have a payload of 4700-4900lbs. That payload refers to passengers, gear, hitch, and the pin weight of your trailer. You are over the legal capacity for your truck. But, the truck is derated to 14000 gvwr and probably is closer to 16,500. But, tell DOT or the judge when you get pulled over for it. A drw 350 will have 400-600lbs more payload. It's the reason why I bought a drw 350. Pity, the turning radius of the 450 is phenomenal
@@dchambers25 I solved that by making my wife run alongside carrying all the "extra" stuff. The 5th wheel is a 48 foot and I need the turning radius so I had to give up my 350
The interior is just no primo enough and it is a pity they chose the same-looking gray plastics from an XLT-grade truck. The KR/Platinum definitely have a more premium look. Why would Ford go with a carbon-fiber look on a top-dog luxury truck? So weird! That said, the F450's turning radius is a boon for those of us that tow long and heavy. I myself went with a Ram 4500 Limited w/ upfitter bed this specific reason.(insane that Ram continues to let Ford own the 450/4500 series class all to itself in terms of non-commercial grade trucks.) I truly understand the 450 and why they are like unicorns on lots, being very hard to find and when you do:$$$$$$$$$$$
KR has much nicer interior. If I ever bought a Ford it would be a KR. This color scheme is pretty feminine IMO. Would never buy this truck. Ford seems to like their shiny metal don’t they. Not a fan. And what is up with that annoying sound. I could not listen to that day in & day out. Yikes! But I do like much of the technology Ford is bringing to the table. But in the end, I’ll stick with my RAM LTD Longhorn & the growl of the Cummins. Now that’s a sound I can listen to day in & day out!
The f450 bros won't like this comment. So, the f450s with a bed are still 14,000 GVWR....and it still has less capability (payload) than an f350..... At some point people will realize that the f450 with a bed has the same downfall as a RAM 2500 diesel.....numbers limited. This is not a cab and chassis truck, it's badging!!!
You are clueless... 14k GVWR, but it's NOT just badging. Bigger brakes. Thicker axle shafts. G rated tires.. And the most impressive difference to me is the wider front track decreasing the turning radius significantly. The above additions add aprox. +-300 pounds compared to an identically equipped 350...which is an insignificant difference in payload. At +- 5,000 pounds payload, it has nowhere near the limitations of a SRW 3/4 ton..
the 22 was a truck a man would be caught driving...the 23 looks like its full of pronouns and has extra space for tampons. They ruined one of the manliest trucks going
