No ticket for Amtrak White Sulphur Springs WV

- This was a very interesting day to say the least. First off I'm not sure how I got here, I was just driving down a back road next thing I no I'm in White Sulphur Springs WV. Saw the Amtrak station so I pulled into it. Maybe I might catch a train. Also the train station looked like something from the north pole. Across the street was the Greenbrier luxury resort that was built in 1913 by the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway. The Greenbrier is also the site of a massive underground bunker that was meant to serve as an emergency shelter for the United States Congress during the Cold War. So anyway I caught 2 CSX coal trains and Amtrak's 50 cardinal.
Next there was this lady who the police brought over from the greenbrier to get on the train and ask me and another guy to make sure she got on. The guy you will see is in blue pants and a gray pattern shirt next to her and is helping people with there bags. They couldn't find her name she didn't have a credit card but she had money but they told her Amtrak does not take cash and she had to wait until Friday for the next train to Chicago. So that was that not sure what happened to her but I did see her sitting on the street curb when I left. I felt really sad for her hope she made it to Chicago.

Live in West Virginia and white sulphur springs Thurmond and prince you have to buy you amtrack tickets on line and being close to Thurmond it's a fun spot to get on train

I really do feel sorry for the girl who was denied boarding the train, especially since she appeared to indeed have some sort of mental disorder and being left behind overnight somewhere probably shows that whoever she was traveling with didn’t care much about her at all. It’s such a shame that she would’ve had to wait two more days for the next westbound Cardinal and I hope she was able to get to Chicago.
Yes it was sad. You would think Amtrak would of let her on and have her pay when she arrived in Chicago. She had cash just no credit card. Thank you for watching
Amtrak left me stranded at White Sulphur Springs. Scheduled to come at noon, it kept pushing back the time till they finally told me to come midnight--to get a bus! Well, I found out at 3 a.m. the bus never stopped, and the driver lied and said no one was there. Don't rely on this transportation!
Sadly, transportation in parts of this country are unreliable. Compared to other countries I've traveled to. Thank you for watching.
