Preventing players from soft locking the game by displacing key quest items is game design 101, yet these devs seem to almost purposefully give just enough free reign to players to fuck up their game. Their earlier title had Tomato losing his lasagna on the bottom of the pool or sitting in the rain, just beyond an invisible wall. I am suspicious losing food may be a core game mechanic of theirs, with horror just added on top. It sure appears to be the main gameplay loop of this stream - a literal loop of softlocks and restarts. If intentional, it is a stroke of genius.
I love how even if the person who "tells" the story believes it, there is a clear normal explanation for their experience. Wild animals. Random hikers. And most important of all Carbon Monoxide poisoning from that dingy stove, potentially mixed with fumes from the gasoline. Edit: ESPECIALLY given the craziest parts literally happen when the stove was on for quite a while
I doubt carbon monoxidee makes you see all that if it happened like it does in the game, but the game definitely embellishes a shit ton, hence why the camera never comes up as it probably only ever existed to set up the scare
The nugget in the credits is wearing the E.G.O. suit and using the E.G.O. "Solemn Lament", both from the abnormality Funeral of Dead Butterflies. They attempted to suppress Little Red Riding Hooded Mercenary and it did not turn out very well for them.
As someone who lives in the P.N.W I can confirm that we have the ability to occasionaly phase through solid matter! It seems more prevolent in Origonians then us in Washington. I'd bring up the Idahoians, but last time I was there it looked like a Doom level, so I assume Idaho is lost to us...
The sheer contrast between mainstream LPers and steam reviews pretending like this is the scariest game of the month and Tomato effortlessly showing demonstrating that it's just another low-grade garbage tier "horror" game is hilarious. Really makes you wonder if Rayll Studios just pays everyone off or they have an army of bots at their disposal.
