what i love about delving into japanese edm is realizing that some of these artists only have like 1 or 2 songs on spotify and yet are absolute bangers
japanese edm producers (or japanese music producers in general) are truly a different breed. some of them can produce more good tracks than some of the popular western artist edm artists today. (including virtual riot) I love japanese edm so much i created a playlist based on them. *"why are japanese people really good at making edm?"*
PSYQUI, Zekk, lapix, Mameyudoufu, Camellia, Kobaryo, Feryquitous, USAO, Juggernaut, YUC'e, yaseta, rejection, surk are some of my favourite artists, there's no end to their banger creationism, I am so grateful to them 😊
I’ve mostly been listening to EDM and electronic music styles from Europe and the Americas, but have delved into some Japanese stuff too, and these guys are insane and really creative. Something I have noted is that Hardcore and its subgenres are pretty big there. I’ll surely be watching this to expand my tastes more.
FINALLY PEOPLE ARE REALISING HOW GOATED JAPANESE PRODUCERS ARE!? The shit they make is 100x better than half the stuff most riddim producers can make 😭(No offence)
Finally someone taking notices on these underrated japanese music, always thought that this group of talented artists deserve way more attention than they do now. Awesome one!
