I was watching the lake effect snow, by lake Erie... oh man there are feet of snow there, each day... And I heard the report you would get cold air soon..wondered how you were doing, thanks so much for the update...you always manage to get everything tucked in for winter...amazing achievement....so far we are staying above freezing here in N.W. Oregon... but temps are slowly dropping 40s at night...55s daytime...any night now could freeze. Thanks for keeping us updated...stay warm...❤

Thanks so much Jeff for sharing this great video. You really have alot of plants that you have moved into that space. so great that the swimming pool got all covered up. I remember when you moved the plants in that area last year and then moved them all back outside when the weather was not as cold. Thanks so much for this update, stay warm, sending love and hugs, bye! 😂🥰😘💕💜💜💜💜💜

I just gave all of my plants a shot of half strength fertilizer today. Because I grow them under some type of grow lights they always grow better for me in the winter months plus I take better care of them because I’m forced to be inside. Hubby didn’t even kill any of them when I went to Va. for three weeks ! 🤭❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃 In fact my Thai is getting a new leaf 🤗❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

I also noticed your prince of orange in the garage. I love that plant o have a couple that have really grown and are 3 years old now. Much easier plant than I thought it would be to grow and maintain

We had our first snow last week here in the UK. It has been very cold but thankfully the temps have gone up again for the next week or so. I am already longing for Spring. Looking forward to seeing your greenhouse but hope that you are able to get the one you originally wanted. Sending you all love and blessings and I hope that you had a magical Thanksgiving. Xxx

Hubby and daughter are flying to Va. in an about a week, I can’t wait ! I want to clean out the laundry room so I can move some of my plants in there. The problem with me is that I ALWAYS make a huge mess to clean up a mess and I like to be alone when I do that because I usually can’t get it done in one day, it takes me several days to figure out how I want to rearrange and store things. Setting up a mini grow room in there will make it easier to put up the Christmas tree AND to give me more room to rearrange things in the family room 🤗 which I’m VERY excited about . I know it’s really weird that we go in shifts to visit family in Va. but I really don’t trust anyone else looking after my dogs. Yes I know I’m weird but…… ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃 Anyway point being that I’m go to get my own mini grow room 👏🏻🤗❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

Hi Jeff 👋 BURRRR.... 🥶 That is way too cold... I have been whining about low 40's... (Zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast) I still need to move all my potted plants from the north side to the south, where I have a corner situation on Concrete. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. 😊 We did... 2 out of 4 daughters (and hubby's), 8 out of 11 grandkids, 2 great granddaughters and many of our "bonus" family. We are soooo blessed 😊 Thank you for another enjoyable video. We will see you Wednesday. Have a great week, stay warm, and take good care. 😊

I had such a hard time finding dichondra 2 years ago, I dug out 4 plants from my hanging baskets last year, cut them back to about 4 inches, cut the roots back so they would fit in 4" pots, and overwintered them in my spare bedroom with my other outside tropicals and they did fine. Just dug them out again and did the same thing a few weeks ago. I'm also trying to root a few clumps of the tops of the stuff I cut off as an experiment to see if they will root. Did the same with my bubblegum and pricilla petunias, double lavender calibrachoa, trailing verbena, one of the rocking salvias, and a blue evolvulus. I'm tired of spending so much on my annual pots!

I've just been setting up grow lights and upgraded my humidifiers. I've wondered what your end of the season cut back looks like. It's a little sad but then that sigh of relief you get when you get the end of the season finished. You seem crazy busy I hope the holiday went well and your fam and company had a great time! 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃

that cold snap is going to affect us all the way down in south Florida. We're going to get down to the 40's the next couple of nights, it is way too early for that.
    "everything needs a water"
here too. It has only rained once since Milton (Oct. 8), so I have obviously been having to hand water, I watered yesterday and I am reluctant to water again until the night lows are above 50 again.

I know what I wanted to ask you, should I cut the flower spikes off of my Shary Baby orchid ? It’s one of the ones I want to put in my mini grow room. I can run a humidifier in there so it will have at least SOME humidity. Right now it’s only 24% humidity in our family room with the wood stove going 🥺 I do put a very large cake pan filled with water to try and help but it really doesn’t help that much. At least we’re not getting shocked every time we touch something. ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

High Jeff! The weather did sorta the same thing here in Baltimore, was really nice for weeks until last night we hit 28 and everything that was alive is mush. Though alot of roses, encore azaleas and even Camellias blooming. I have bay laurel , true myrtle amaricrinium Fred Howard still outside. I usually get away with the bay trees all winter, but like you said it's really cold early. And to top it off I have a sanseveria in the mail from succulentasia that was in New Jersey the day before Thanksgiving. It's Saturday now , hasn't shown up and I'm worried! I hope your Thanksgiving was great and thanks again for your great videos! Everytime I watch you motivate me to do something planty! I can be pretty lazy!lol.

You should try sticky tape or those pocking surface things to keep birds away to keep th the fluff away from plants.

Mingo our cat is driving me 🤪 crazy right now, she’s in heat AGAIN, about every two to three weeks she’s in heat and she just yowls . I know the responsible thing to do is get her spayed BUT in our area it’s like $400.00 which I find ridiculously expensive, plus she is an indoor cat so no possibility of her having kittens. But like I said she is very noisy ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃 Maybe if I start a go fund me ? JK ❄️⛄️🎄💚🙃

Jeff, way over modulated on the last 2/3 of the video. Love to see the indoor garage greenhouse, but the audio was horrible.
