What was incredibly touching to me about the scene where Jill bursts into the kitchen was how Frank listened to her, as compared to Seneca. Really listened, let her speak and was kind. Seneca did not listen. He just assumes he already knows everything so why listen?
Jill, is experiencing Opioid addiction and withdrawal. This was filmed in '79 and it is an epidemic in 2019.. Nancy Addison, gave an exemplary performance. Very moving and believable!
She was such a gifted actress. She died way too soon. Her acting was unique and I think it is a result of her being understudy of Sanford Meisner, who developed what has been referred to as the Meisner technique. Which involved affective memory, recalling personally sad, happy, frustrated etc times in order to portray the character’s emotions. She is heads and shoulders above most on this soap opera. RIP Nancy Addison, I enjoyed you as Kit on Guiding Light as well as Ryans Hope. Your superb skills of character portrayal, continue to result in a new fan base, as well and your regular fans. I suggest you Google Nancy Addison or see if she has a Wikipedia page. It should list her acting credits for soap operas. I can’t remember the other ones that she was on. I just remember the guiding light and it may have been another world.. You can find all those episodes on UA-cam..
Sennaca is a Jailor, not a husband. Wouldn't be surprised if he put bars on her windows, & a padlick on the door.. He pushed her buttons about the adoption. Going to see Rae to fix it. His old controlling ways. That's why she needed to think, at the beach. At the hospital, he takes her phone, calls security to remove Frank. Not just put Edmunds things away for now, he gives them away, totally renovated the baby's room into an office. Already pushing for another baby. So terrified that Edmunds death severs the connection with Jill.
Nancy addison should have one the emmy this year she lost to irene daily of another world who was bsrley on enough to even have been in the supporting category!!! Emmys were very messed up at times!!!!
And skanky Delia is the most vicious black hearted witch on the show. How can she tell that to a man who lost his son, with a gleam in her eye, and a smirk on her lips? And how can you or anyone else defend that behavior? Egotistical isn't the only thing he should have called her!
The show that is usually so good medically dropped this one once your dependent you must be weened or risk seisures even death perhaps this was the thinking of the seventies but we know better now
