@@killasity8550Yeah, I dunno about you, but that’s clearly not an okay thing to do for a longer time distance than that when he even did it using the platform he had (especially when comparing to this where it was consenting adults doing something that doesn’t harm anybody.) If he comes back in a few years or whatever after reflecting on it as someone clearly acknowledging that behavior as a clearly changed person that’s done things to help show that, then we can maybe reassess things. To try and have it where he effectively gets no public pushback for doing that seems incredibly wrong.

@@TheRealLeafsoh come on… while I disagree with what it seems they’re trying to say (he definitely deserves pushback for behavior like that; definitely not defending that [see my prior comment]), don’t put words in their mouth / change what they said as it doesn’t help strengthen what you’re trying to convey to them. Also, not everything needs to be an extreme position, I generally like to believe in rehabilitation of people over capital punishment as a principle as long as the person eventually & adequately shows change (which could still end up meaning they live their life outside of having a streaming platform, etc.)

@@rburnside88 Saying people are “too soft” when Sketch was saying he was considering leaving us (as plenty of others do, too, and too many go through with) as a result of that sort of stuff doesn’t make one look good. That type of stuff can add up & really affect someone.
As a counter, some might say some people are too toxic as that’s the thing really causing the issue. I’d much rather have someone like Sketch make me laugh than have low-hanging fruit jokes in a world without him, personally.
