DIsclaimer! This was recorded before Update 4.2 went stable! I don't remember how that affects the video, but I felt like pointing it out! 👍 Also please watch this Weird and Wonderful if you have a moment, it's probably the most underrated BorderWise video of 2024. :D ua-cam.com/video/pWbMZcBfKXs/v-deo.htmlsi=i09YcJYxIjyCe579
I find it immensely funny that I found this blueprint on the workshop before the video, and the workshop item references the video so I was just confused XD
Question, how do you make crams accurate on a broadside hover craft setup? My hover tank kept missing its cram and its not even funny even on stationary target.
CRAMs inherit velocity from their parent vehicle more so than any other weapon type, so annoyingly you're going to have to slow down a lot and make sure you're driving towards the enemy for the most part. That's after all the usual checks, like minimum accuracy set, detection and so on. 😅
Dude I love this game however the thing that makes me really hate it is that flying vehicles are pretty much the only way to go at the moment I'm trying to make mega ships in the water and they just can't turn no matter what I do if I put it in the air it can turn just fine but a kilometer long solid worship should not be able to fly easier than it should be able to sit in the water it's so dumb
Compromise... Hover, which in real life yes it's difficult but real hover craft will always outmaneuver a ship. Also change your world settings, there is more realistic settings than Neter 'the default'.
Big craft typically are harder to maneuver. Ships when built well should be cheaper to keep on the surface than a thrustercraft in the air. Flying vehicles are typically more maneuverable than ships but suffer more from most damage types, especially fire. If you want to build a big ship, keep an eye on the weight and make sure that you are using lighter weight blocks or use air pumps in turret spaces or helium in enclosed compartments. Hope this helps a bit more
@newsurreal9871 My problem is not so much with buoyancy it's that on the upper end of the biggest ships in the game It doesn't matter how many propellers I put on it there's not enough thrust to turn it
@ Large craft are just hard to rotate in FtD, even lots of the medium-large faction thrustercraft turn rather slowly. If your ship is on the lower size end, using custom rudders alongside using azipods help a lot with turning speed.

Yeah, I kinda goofed up the timing on that one. I've been quite distracted over the last few days. XD
should add yellow lazers and call it CRAMPISS
we’ll get ‘em next year.
Or we could do it ourselves…
if you add a SANTA it should be a Super Airship Not Too Amazing, aka a bad airship.
that's all I could think of.
@@hyrummamanakis8529 ... that's genius! Don't let me forget that next year. XD
18:00 Yeah mortars got a massive buff going form homing 2 degrees turn rate to 8
Hell of a way for me to find out, eh? XD

onyx watch drooling rn
Crampus faces off against Crampta Clause for the fate of Cramsmus
Goodness me what might this b- GOOD GOD WHAT IS THAT UNGODLY LARGE CRAMMON
Would have wished to see the entire battle against the anvil, also maybe show more of the enemy ships.
martin got you a new viewer. you remind me of nerd3 and i love that guy
I like the part where the ship said "It's cramping time" and just cramped all over the place
There it is the Battle Katamaran

Secondarily turrets can be very very fast and accurate
