Speed- Able to keep up with Genos G4 who with previous upgrade was able to keep up with sonic who was multiple times faster than sound. Reflexes - Doged multiple machinegun bullets at nigh point blank range. Those bullets being able to obliterate everything in their vicinity..

A train literally stated that (I can search the entire borough in just 3 hours) and A train was weakened while he was searching for hughie which means A train at least is faster than Mach 100 and if you are saying that (b-but a train in the race was Mach 1) I am pretty sure A train didn’t use his top speed because let us be clear A train is the fastest man in the boys universe which means he is faster than homelander who can outrun c4 explosion and faster than wide wonder who can break Mach 2! And let us not forget A train was able to dodge light beam!! Homelander was able to dodge + outrun C4 and science saying that C4 explosion is Mach 23 which means homelander is faster than Mach 23, soldier boy was able to react laser attack + react to light beam… and homelander actually has some combat skill feat he fought against two super soldier (billy butcher + soldier boy) in a fair fight and homelander also blocked many punches from queen Maeve (queen Maeve trained since she was a child)… and even if homelander has no fighting style and garou is faster than him (which it is not true) garou still not wining this fight because homelander already survived many thing for example: madlyne stated that to billy butcher (there is nothing we haven’t throw at homelander they all failed) which means even the strongest nuclear bomb cannot kill him and in (diabolical the boys) homelander took the entire chemical plant explosion without any scratch so homelander has city level durability so Garoua’s punches will only make homelander angry and then homelander one tap him
@@Halfhuman9 mach 1 was his top speed, ive watched the boys and he was even pumped up with compound v, also homelander only has faster FLYING and TRAVEL speeds and not speed in general because we dont even see him doing anything like that in the fight with soldier boy. and a-train didnt dodge any light beams. starlight fires electricity or plasma, both are nowhere near light speed and a-train literally just barely dodged the place where she was aiming at, homelander literally only lands close to mach 30 at a highball. the explosion homelander took was barely city level, and if we say that he can tank something like the tsar bomb then even house of evolution arc genos could harm him with incinerate because genos managed to vaporize a large chunk off a mountain, which was calced to be around small town-multi city block level, deep sea king proceeds to tank a stronger genos's incinerate and genos was keeping up in a physical fight, another upgrade later genos was able to beat DSK low diff in an audio book, and ANOTHER upgrade later he meets gouketsu and finally fights a garou that was at 1 HP. keep in mind that genos did state that he focued on firepower and such, but garou was still keeping up and fighting relatively. genos at a lowball would already be able to put dents into homelander casually so a garou at full health would literally fold bro in half, not to mention that garou could literally deflect homelanders punches with twice the amount of power put into it so it doesnt even matter if we dont use that line of scaling, garou also deflected machinegun bullets which was calced to be around mach 48, not mentioning the massive difference and gap in skill.

Garou also said while fighting Genos that Genos is relative to Tank Top Master in power. He was throwing hands with post G4 Genos while very heavily fatigued and stalemated, like I said earlier. Post G4 Genos is stronger than G4 Genos (obviously) and G4 Genos beat Deep Sea King with relatively low difficulty in the audiobook. Deep Sea King was able to take hits from early series Genos who, without really trying, blew up an entire building and half of the mountain behind it in one blow. Deep Sea King took these explosions point blank to the face and had almost no reaction. Homelander has shown nothing compared to Garou, whether it be power or speed. Homelander is completely outmatched here.

Garou is so fast, he can easily keep up with people reaching into the hundreds if not thousands of mach. Just in his regular human state. And if you wanna bring in lasers, Genos at the start of season 2 reacted to lasers, Garou is about as fast as him.

Garou is well enough capable enough to fight against Honelander in this form. People can’t seem to be able to differentiate Garou’s adaptability from his Monster Awakenings. Garou was able to fight those A tier heroes while fighting off poison, and still had enough rage to contend with Genos with a rage amp before Bang and Bomb stepped him. Homelander’s fighting experience and arsenal are extremely limited, and to make matters worse Garou’s reaction speed and combat speed increased exponentially during the fight with Genos.

Seeing how Homelander fully relies only on super strength and lasers, his strong punches would get deflected easily by water stream since it managed to deflect lasers from the Big Doggy seen by Bang. His laser won't be a problem too since he aims at people who don't move at all, it's safe to assume he'd miss all of it, and even if he does injure Garou, Garou is still a beast by default even as a human, he'd find his way around it

So this base Garou should easily out skill Homelander in hand to hand, in fact it wouldn't be a fight, however Garou could not tank a shot heat vision for more than a few seconds, we know this is true because Golden Ball pierced Garou with a projectile. Homelander also has a speed advantage here as well, we know this based on how fast Homelander was flying over the city looking for translucent for strength I would say he seems to measure up to Tank Top Master which Garou took a punch from and kept going. All that said I think Homelander puts up a bit better fight and may even get some good shots in but Garou ultimately wins this. That's my take though.

the explosion homelander took was barely city level, and if we say that he can tank something like the tsar bomb then even house of evolution arc genos could harm him with incinerate because genos managed to vaporize a large chunk off a mountain, which was calced to be around small town-multi city block level, deep sea king proceeds to tank a stronger genos's incinerate and genos was keeping up in a physical fight, another upgrade later genos was able to beat DSK low diff in an audio book, and ANOTHER upgrade later he meets gouketsu and finally fights a garou that was at 1 HP. keep in mind that genos did state that he focued on firepower and such, but garou was still keeping up and fighting relatively. genos at a lowball would already be able to put dents into homelander casually so a garou at full health would literally fold bro in half, not to mention that garou could literally deflect homelanders punches with twice the amount of power put into it so it doesnt even matter if we dont use that line of scaling, garou also deflected machinegun bullets which was calced to be around mach 48, not mentioning the massive difference and gap in skill.

Garou is undoubtedly faster than Homelander. There is no argument there.
Homelander also doesn't have the power to kill Garou. Garou is MASSIVELY above Tank Top Master who was able to throw buildings and radio towers with little to no difficulty. Garou also said while fighting Genos that Genos is relative to Tank Top Master in power. He was throwing hands with post G4 Genos while very heavily fatigued and stalemated, like I said earlier. Post G4 Genos is stronger than G4 Genos (obviously) and G4 Genos beat Deep Sea King with relatively low difficulty in the audiobook. Deep Sea King was able to take hits from early series Genos who, without really trying, blew up an entire building and half of the mountain behind it in one blow. Deep Sea King took these explosions point blank to the face and had almost no reaction.
Homelander has shown nothing compared to Garou, whether it be power or speed. Homelander is completely outmatched here.

And if you wanna bring in lasers, Genos at the start of season 2 reacted to lasers, Garou is about as fast as him.

Garou was able to fight those A tier heroes while fighting off poison, and still had enough rage to contend with Genos with a rage amp before Bang and Bomb stepped him. Homelander’s fighting experience and arsenal are extremely limited, and to make matters worse Garou’s reaction speed and combat speed increased exponentially during the fight with Genos.

The difference between these two is that Garou is a fighter, Homelander is a guy born from a test tube with no fighting experience.
It does make sense, because the great part of heroes that Garou foght, iniciality did not have the intention to kill him. But homelander no...he would punch Garou with all force to kill him instantly.

Homelander also has a speed advantage here as well, we know this based on how fast Homelander was flying over the city looking for translucent for strength I would say he seems to measure up to Tank Top Master which Garou took a punch from and kept going.
All that said I think Homelander puts up a bit better fight and may even get some good shots in but Garou ultimately wins this.
