Hey Alice! At about 15:00 minute mark in the video, If you want to round just one edge of the triangle, you have to click the actual little square (the point) to only select that one edge, and then round it as you would usually do. Hope this helps! ❤️❤️
Currently doing logo design at uni so these videos are helpful. I’ve downloaded illustrator on my iPad as well and it was really annoying me because I’m used to Procreate so I’ll attempt using it again soon.
@@NONE-52N I believe the app is free when you download it and then you sign in or create an account. If you create account that’s where you have to pay for a subscription.

OMG. I didn't know that white translusent circle thingy was meant for that. I was simply annoyed by it being on my screen, because I didn't know what it was. That would've made my tests on the Ipad version so much easier! I'm still not a fan of it, because there are some key features missing which I use in my workflow and it just feels way more complicated than the PC version. It's nice to have it on the go though.
How do you export file types WITHOUT the art board behind your art?? On desktop I used to always drag the art off the art board to dodge it for transparent backgrounds, but on the iPad all I can get is the nagging white art board behind it.
Thank you!! Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Because I'm lazy I find it fun to just roll with it a lot of the time. But for client work I'd use a grid most likely :)
Please can you tell me which one is the best app for designing logo.. Inffinity or vectornator on ipad? Because illustrator is paid monthly! and I think it does not have all the features..
You Graphic and Amadine too. I prefer Graphic because is fast. For me this tutorial is too complicated. Vectornator is good because you can vectorize a picture. So you can design everything with this apps.
Illustrator is also Vector based andProcreate isn't. I personally will stick to using Illustrator on my Laptop for Logos (and any design work basically) and Procreate on my Ipad for drawing.

Yes! Thank you! You've just saved me from a lot of future frustration 🙌🏻
actually loving how you are experimenting and showing us the trial and error as you go along in this video!!! it's actually more helpful!

Which ipad application??
Great tutorial! Is there a way you’re willing to share with us how you made that half circle tho?
loved the video as usual:) while designing logos did you ever use grid or golden ratio methods? which one is more helpful if you did?

what is that thing that keeps flashing on your screen even few seconds?
As a complete beginner would you recommend learning logo design on a computer or an iPad?
Random opinion, but i would recommend starting where you are and working with what you have

Hello 👋
Illustrator on iPad is very complicated. I don't think so the Procreate users will be shift on it any soon 😅
Gotta agree!
Illustrator is also Vector based andProcreate isn't. I personally will stick to using Illustrator on my Laptop for Logos (and any design work basically) and Procreate on my Ipad for drawing.
@@josie3779 Agreed!! You cannot replace Illustrator on laptop for all the Graphic Design stuff (That's what I personally use).
you are so funny haha
💕
I thought the video was pretty good.
