Actually the qoute is from "Atlas Shrugged", the same book that Jake gives Lucas to read in this episode. And yes, the author is Ayn Rand

This meant a lot to me as a teenager but it means even more to be as an adult 😢
I never watched any more of this show past Season 1, but when I first heard this quote, it really stuck with me. That was a few years ago and this quote has still been my favourite ever since.

So I loked it up and I was right this wasnt form OTH. The author was: Ayn Rand, or that was the only name I found in 30 seconds of looking :p
