You guys are literally the best source to start out podcast!! Thank you guys so much you guys always release the videos whenever I have a question about it that's really cool!
I do my podcast, The McTaggart Attack Podcast, Monday through Friday and about a week and a half ago I started recording it on audio and video. I just record the video on my laptop with my USB podcast mic plugged in, then I upload the mp4 to UA-cam. Then I import the mp4 to Audacity and change it to an mp3 for the audio version. I did find your episode very helpful for when I can enhance it with better equipment.
You guys are awesome.. I watched your video on how to start a podcast and already I’ve done two episodes in one week! Published them and hoping for the best.. thanks guys!! you’re awesome!!❤❤❤
I guess my problem is you don’t explain recording the audio and video at the same time which is the most confusing part… how do you hook your mics up to your camera? Or do you edit the video with the sound?
How do you connect the cameras? Or rather, what are you connecting them to? Directly to the computer? or is there another device they are connected to?
Veronica and Steve, I am part of your Facebook group and this is what I do with all of my Podcast episodes. I record my video and audio together. My videos aren't the best because I still need to get some better lighting, but you guys put out great content and have been helpful in my podcasting journey, thanks. Going to UA-cam with it is just a natural progression, but the added video editing is time consuming. I use Filmora for video editing. Keep up the great work!

@@joetowers4804 Thanks for the catch Joe, can't believe I typo'd that so bad. Guess that is what happens when you rush things. I will have to fix that today.
I was about to record a podcast both audio and video, what software should I use to record 2 cameras (phone and camera)? Hoping for your answers. Thank you
I have a UA-cam channel and I would like to start podcasting too. Can I do both at the same time from my phone? If not if I use my phone for UA-cam video what equipment will I need for podcast ? Would I just attach a mic to my pc ? Confused lol
Thanks for this guys So please could you tell me the equipments needed to record a good podcast Besides the laptop & smartphone Like a starter pack for podcast equipment
How do you align the audio to the video? If the mics are recording to the PC and the video is to the camera ....where are they merged? Might be a dumb question but I don't get it.
@@txpatriot7038 this is a great question. This happens in your video editing software and all of the video editing software now makes this pretty easy. You just put one file on top of the other one and select them together and there’s usually an option to choose to synchronize. Once They’ve been synchronized and you just bad from the camera
Thank you for this video, guys! I would like to ask you something about the interface - it connects the microphones with the computer or with the camera as well? :)
I need help I want to video podcast, like 2 mic and 3 cameras but I dont know how to it up or what to but to connect all together, is there someone that can help me ?
We don’t actually connect them to the camera. We record the mics separate in a computer and then replace the camera audio with the mic audio in the video editing software.
This video was very helpful thank you! I noticed many DSLR's can only record video for 30m or so at a time, I was wondering if you know of any video solutions/DLSR's that can record for the full hour or hour and a half that most podcasts last?
Great question. The only work around that we have found to this is to record the output of the camera or the camera switcher (multi cam) into a screen recording software. Much like you would a live stream. This is a cool approach because with a camera switcher you can create a nice dynamic episode that you don’t have to edit very much. What we do is set a stop watch and restart the recording every 25 mins or so.
Great and helpful video just switched to doing facecam instead of a still picture and the video was very successful than the others in just 1 day thank u so much . this is my podcast channel I'm commenting from
So you guys kind of just answered my question that I commented on your latest video! But I signed up for the podcasting on UA-cam master class since I still have a lot of questions. Looking forward to it! And just subscribed!
This really helped me and gave different ideas on how to approach my pod and improve on things not only setup wise but also things I can personally do to have a better experience. Thank you!!!
Hi. Many podcasters will upload just the audio with visuals or audiograms. But videos, where you are actually on camera, will perform way better. What's your podcast called??
