Moral of the story: Separating individuals is never a good idea. If you put up rules (fences) that restrict what some of them can/can't do, they will always harm themselves on them. And if you convince them of being separate groups, conflict is inevitable.
Sheep are the result of thousands of years of domestication. They were once wild goats capable of surviving by themselves. Today they could not survive a day without their masters. Their body and mind has been damaged to much that they are incapable of thinking for themselves. Sadly freedom can only be achieved almost individually in a very small scale.

The more they try to separate them, the more they got killed. It's like Germany post WW2 in a nutshell. I talk about the sheep. They got separated but they want to unite so bad. Minus the death part.. About the shepherd, it's like leader of rivals. It's like USA & USSR, North & South Korea, etc. They r rival but actually not that rival. But in the process of their rivalry, they get lot of casualties. Their own ppl.

My auntie tasked me and my mum to take care of her animals while her and the rest of her house went on vacation, we went over to feed the farm animals and dogs in the evening, and one of her baby lambs got its head stuck in a fence
Remarkably, as a shepherd, i found this very accurate! Sheep can be very self-destructive if they are not well controlled. I just had to give tetanus and antibiotic shots to a couple of rams that had smashed through a welded steel fence because I opened a gate that led to fresh grass in a pasture over 400 feet away. Incredibly they were not even interested in the grass once they got there…they wanted only to keep each other from eating grass! Half day fence repairs, medical treatment and making visual blocking walls so they could not see the grass.
My step-dad is a dairy farmer, he rents some of his land out to a local shepherd over winter each year. A couple of years ago a brook burst it's banks and the shepherd lost 5 sheep to drowning. All they had to do it walk 10 feet until they reached a hill, but they all decided to stay where they were until they were cut off from the hill by the flood. Not a lick of sense in them.

After watching this video ,i fell into deep thought and i got to know that there's also a moral in the sheep foolishness that they didn't go around the wall.... Moral from that part; "No one can overcome you until you use your brain"

Ideas guide us, move us, shape us and even give us identity, but that doesn't make them all correct. Still, deep inside we all want to CONNECT, to be together, to seek LOVE. The problem is our ideas (shepherds) build WALLS so that we don't. Yet we were born for this, for love and connection, so we try by any means to destroy these mental barriers. Sadly, in the process, we end up hurting ourselves, our identity, our "truth". And when we finally destroy the barriers that separate us, we realize it is too LATE: our ideas have already shaped us (different cutting patterns shepherds did) and this creates separation and war. Guess the only way we could free ourselves of this situation, is by seeking the correct ideas, the CORRECT shepherd, in order to unify in TRUTH. And learning to love each other for what we are regardless of what we think, respecting each individual's process, and accepting we might also be wrong, as we continue in the seeking of truth.

I grew up on a sheep farm. One day all the sheep were standing together in the middle of the field. I wondered out loud what they were doing. Without looking up from his newspaper, my dad said “Deciding which of them will drop dead for no bloody reason”.

That is because you are treating it as a Hollywood movie. The message in this short film reflects a deeper meaning, sheep = citizens and Shepards = country leaders. Leaders or controlling entities of what so cold countries are responsible for the wars in the world. It used to be kings now its leaders. Nothing has changed, except that in the past, borders used to be dynamic, now it’s static. The wars are for resources to fatten their economy rather that land expansion.

Remarkably, as a shepherd, i found this very accurate! Sheep can be very self-destructive if they are not well controlled. I just had to give tetanus and antibiotic shots to a couple of rams that had smashed through a welded steel fence because I opened a gate that led to fresh grass in a pasture over 400 feet away. Incredibly they were not even interested in the grass once they got there…they wanted only to keep each other from eating grass! Half day fence repairs, medical treatment and making visual blocking walls so they could not see the grass.

My step-dad is a dairy farmer, he rents some of his land out to a local shepherd over winter each year. A couple of years ago a brook burst it's banks and the shepherd lost 5 sheep to drowning. Separating the two groups was the whole purpose of the sheppards. Ironically the sheep intermingled from the onset of the encounter and were impossible to separate back into the group they came from. The whole exercise was pointless.

After watching this video ,i fell into deep thought and i got to know that there's also a moral in the sheep foolishness that they didn't go around the wall....
Moral from that part; "No one can overcome you until you use your brain"
STRONG DEEP MORAL IN THE STORY:
The sheep represent us, humanity. The shepherds represent the different ideas that govern our minds. Ideas guide us, move us, shape us and even give us identity, but that doesn't make them all correct. Still, deep inside we all want to CONNECT, to be together, to seek LOVE.
The problem is our ideas (shepherds) build WALLS so that we don't. Yet we were born for this, for love and connection, so we try by any means to destroy these mental barriers. Sadly, in the process, we end up hurting ourselves, our identity, our "truth". And when we finally destroy the barriers that separate us, we realize it is too LATE: our ideas have already shaped us (different cutting patterns shepherds did) and this creates separation and war.
Guess the only way we could free ourselves of this situation, is by seeking the correct ideas, the CORRECT shepherd, in order to unify in TRUTH. And learning to love each other for what we are regardless of what we think, respecting each individual's process, and accepting we might also be wrong, as we continue in the seeking of truth.
