What a great "Tell All "interview. I followed your shows on Blue network back in 1976 when you'd come on Saturday mornings to host playing new songs. Cliff Richard then released "I'm nearly famous" lp. You played much of his songs including Devil Woman, You got to give me all your loving. a hit song from that album. Youd say, dont buy pirate records because they don't sound good. You also played David Bowie "Station to Station" album especially "Golden Years". You spoke very good English back then for a Malaysian Chinese on radio as a DJ. You still do the same today. I remember that year itself, in 1976, you had to leave the radio show and you said, "Every good thing must come to an end". And it was sad you left that show you started well in 1976. I just hope you won't be convicted in November case. Good to hear from you. Take care and stay away from making risky comments. It is Malaysia, unfortunately. We must live by the rules unfortunately. Keep in touch! And stay strong with the grace of God. Cheers!
English was at its best at that era and his voice was and is still very easy to listen and understand 😊❤
He has a good voice even at this age. Talented.
English is a colonizer tongue, colonizers use language and religion to colonize and subjugate their subject.
The Golden voice of Malaysia as what i can remember of you,Patrick Teoh.
The greatest there can ever be, Patrick inspired so many people in the same industry.
Thank you Patrick Teoh, truly Malaysian Legend🫡
Yay ! Good to hear stories from my former Boss. He had inspired, trained and produced many good talents too. Wish Patrick Teoh and family Super healthy and Super happy.
Hi Uncle Patrick Teoh, i use to listen to your radio show everyday in the 90s, a true legend!!
I used to listen to Radio 4 back in the 90's and Mr Patrick Teoh was one of my favs. His session was informative and he always play a nice selection. Circa 1994, if I'm not mistaken, he loved to tell his listeners what he discovered on the internet. Subsequently, that was when I knew what the internet was all about, from Mr Patrick Teoh, way before my late father got us our first dialup internet in 1997. 😄
Yes best of his DJ years. Loved it
Icon
Legend
Appreciate you Patrick Teoh
When l listen to the legend Patrick golden voices, it recalled me the late Raymond Goh where his voice a little similar to Patrick…..Salute to both of them
Like or hate him, he is still the “Voice of Malaysia”.
The most recognisable voice over the radio and thanks for your companionship during our younger days.
A legend, a legendary man. Not many people are like him, Mr. Patrick Teo.
He is a good talker.
I remember when I was 7 yrs old, my brothers would tune in to the radio on Sundays on a famous show where he talked about movies I think and his signing-off catch-phrase " Sunshine & Blue Skies" always remained with me. So, thank you to Patrick Teoh for the memories. I also remember him telling us somewhere that his language came about by watching movies. Msia never produced a Patrick Teoh again.
Pick of the pops; blue skies and everything nice.
Mr. Patrick Teoh is really a true voice for Malaysia, his English is superb. Love to hear him on radio back old days. 😍😍😍
BBC alternative 😂
He can tell one story after another. Feel entertaining listening to him. Gift of the tongue.
Patrick is forever my favourite English speaking radio broadcaster and DJ
I started listening him in 1974 when i was form 4 in Ipoh. Lovely voice. Looking forward to his programme every sunday. Still loves listening to his voice. Stay healthy bro
I enjoyed listening to his radio show when I was young. Not much entertainment back then. His closing phrase ‘Blue Sky and every thing Nice.’
Still remember his Cool and Swinging Show on radio which I would not miss on Sunday afternoon in Sarawak.
The man & the voice .. started listening to him every sunday when it was Blue Network in the 80s .. he would be broadcasting the show ..Kee Huat Facts and Fancies followed by Constance Haslam .. then the 90s were the midnight ghost story , i remembered the vampire interview , everyone stayed glued to the show . There was once also a guy called in in the middle of the show telling Patrick he was in the cemetery grounds trying to summon the ghost for number purpose ( LOL ) , can hear prayers at the background .. then suddenly he was screaming with a howling ladies voices at the background and the line will get cut . It was great times ! Thanks for the interview .
Pat ,I loved your programs both on telly and radio since the 70's. Nor Nikman Dadahmeah, Radhakrishnan and Faridah were the other great ones and not forgetting Yasmin too. The munching of tidbits during the interview spoilt an otherwise nostalgic journey.
Blue skies and everything nice ..I still remember that Voice. Always heartening to hear him talk and truly..The Voice of Malaysia. Wishing him good health and happiness always. I salute him.👍👍👍🇲🇾🤓🤩
He is a true legendary voice over, we all love to use for our ads. ❤

DJ preema
Awesome Patrick!
Surely we all are Malaysian we live, breed, work and contributed & still on going to make our nation prosperous, harmonious and peaceful once again…there is still Hope in our land.
Have always admired you and still do but deep down you are not convinced for your children to stay in our once harmonious paradise called Malaysia. Like so many fellow former Malaysians, we seem to be heading to a very uncertain future. Left 40 years ago, no regrets but lots of nostalgic memories of our once undivided country. From a former Malaysian born in Lumut and raised in KL.....
Thanks for creating this channel and interviewing the icons who have shaped and inspired Malaysia.
Enjoyed lisr to your golden Melodious voice. Wishing you a v happy n long healthy life.
Simply the best. Indisputable GOAT on the radio.
You rock!
Cheers from Brisbane
The best voice on radio in our time
Patrick, we remember your favourite hits single “Mexican Girl “ sung by Smokie. That was nice and beautiful song.
The voice
Hi Patrick, those were the good and simple days. I would on the radio on sundays to listen to you on the "Kee Huat Facts and Fancies" programme. I really did envy you during that time as you had a clear booming voice and such good english. How did you manage to talk such good english Patrick? I also did attend many functions where you were the MC. Time really flies, isnt it. Now we find ourselves in the 70's in age. Please do take care and stay healthy.
fantastic facts and fancies
We used to listen to Radio DJ during his heyday at RTM now Traxx FM in the morning on our way to work.
Really like Uncle Patrick voice, amazing !
Hi Patrick, I am Jerry, a Michaelian. I have booked a table for our OMA dinner on 28/9. Our table still has 4 vacant seats. Would you like to join us? Good to meet up old teachers and other Michaelians. Free flow of beers! 100 tables (i think) at the basketball court.
Patrick Teoh's MUSIC MACHINE.
What you say about future Malaysia is use your influence to make Malaysia better to live.
Heyyy legend voice lor still same arh😍
His opening words used to be Blue skies and happy days
Malaysian Malaysia, God sped. Sometimes u see it coming, next, it fizzled out.
Blue Sky Everything Nice Rain Sometime
I used to be his fan since I was in my teens until I heard him on the radio in my 40s on classical programme of some sort. I thought what happened to him ? What made him arrogant?
I be looking for ' Return to Paradise ' , what !
👍
Didnt he first started in Redifussion Penang?
Many of the Living History legends went to colonial / missionary schools which were run in the English medium. That made the difference. Pearls of time....never to return...
Those days watching movies cost only ten cents, subsequently rose to thirty cents?.watching movies was old school idea.?
Unfortunately, a Malaysian Malaysia is considered seditious in Malaysia, and has been since it was first uttered by Lee Kuan Yew in the 1960s. Singapore was lucky to leave Malaysia and I remember in 2013, in an interview published in The Straits Times, LKY said that Malaysians form about 40% of the population of Singapore. However, the Singapore government later "corrected" it to say that the 40% referred to the total foreign population in Singapore who were non-Singaporeans. Singapore's population is about 5 million and in 2023, the Malaysian government said that about 1.89 million Malaysians had emigrated to Singapore. In 2011, a World Bank report stated that a million Malaysians had emigrated to Singapore by 2010, with 90% of them of Chinese Malaysians. In about a decade, the rate of emigration from 2010 to 2022 had almost doubled.
"small town like Ipoh..😅"
Perak was a key tin-mining state and Ipoh was the hub. And tin exports were key contributor to the country then.
As much as Patrick is/was a radio legend, his judgements (esp political views) are not necessarily the best.
I agree with him. Form 5 is adequate during his days. Malaysian education system has since gone down the drain. Sad.
I still remember “Lau Beng” was a regular caller who can tease Patrick and make him laugh
All the best Patrick Teoh,PAK PAK BEH SI,what is left, make the best out off it.
Thank you Mr Yeoh
👍
