My small tribute to Yume Nikki's 20th anniversary today (or yesterday? timezones are weird lol). I wish I started this one way earlier than I did so I could have had all of the scenes properly animated, but alas, I was too late. I decided to give it my all as much as I could in around 3 ish months or so. It was a fun and straining challenge!

Considering yume nikki is just a representation of kikiyama's dreams and madotsuki a probably self-insert now i can't stop imagining how a date of kikiyama and toby fox would go (imagine sans and madotsuki in a dinner date and probably thats the most exact escenario)

I commented this on twitter when the animation was uploaded there but i used to listen to this remix for weeks when i first got hyperfixated on yume nikki back in 2016 so it makes me so happy to see it being used in an animation to celebrate its anniversary. I love how despite the years yume nikki's community is still as creative and loving of its source material as ever ❤
