This one is gorgeous!!! I’ve never seen this little golden book!! Everything you used flowed so beautifully! I’ve not seen the vintage perfume labels! Love those! & the lighting was wonderful!! I used to worry so much about that and then realized as long as it’s not just super dark it’s always a little brighter than we feel like it is!! you’re doing great!! 🌸🌸🌸
Oh thanks so much! I feel like the lighting just makes everything look so dingy, but I have sooo much light on I could not possibly add more. I love all kinds of vintage labels! I wish I could purchase them all. I really don’t know why… it’s like they are so just delicate and shiny 😂.

Hi! Thank you! Do you mean decorating the signatures or picking the papers or sewing them in? Just so I know what people want to see.
@@11dancingdandelions44 it looks like you glue two pages together and then add them to the signature. It’s not how I usually see signatures put together, but I absolutely love your style.

Hi! Thank you, I love vintage coasters as well. They add such cute texture and fun. When I source them they can be a little costly in my opinion but ultimately I feel like they add a lot and will be preserved rather than placing a cup on top and then tossing.

Yet another beautiful journal! You are definitely my favourite maker to follow. I have two of your journals, and I often look at them for inspiration. I highly recommend that if your viewers are considering buying some of your work, they should go ahead and do it. I guarantee they won’t be disappointed! What treasures!
I have so so many questions! 😊 I’m wondering which glue you use to attach book pages to cardstock to make tags. They are nice and flat. Are you using something like yes paste? Thanks again for sharing.
Hi! Goodness, thank you! Feel free to ask any questions! I use scotch create glue stick which is a permanent glue. It’s one of my favorite glues! ❤
Absolutely love what you have done with this journal, your detail is phenomenal to say the least,the owner hopefully will love it, what did you use to seal the old papers
Thank you. I used a clear matte sealer and then placed in a lidded Tupperware with charcoal deodorizer for a week.
I absolutely love all your journals and videos!!! You could do a video a day, and I wouldn't get tired of it!!! lol I realize that's not realistic, 😊 but that's how much I enjoy them!! I would be very interested in knowing what you use to seal and how you do the process!! It's been something I've been wanting to know how to do on covers and also pages, so that would be awesome!!!! Thanks!! One question.. what glue do you use and then sew over without it messing up your sewing machine?
Oh gosh thank you! So I bought a used sewing machine 4 years ago from Facebook marketplace and have never done anything to it except clean it out 😬 so keep that in mind. I really abuse it. So I say this because all glue is probably not good for your machine… technically. With that said I just use the glues I like and wait for them to dry and sew away. The only thing I try not to sew through is double sided tape. I did that once and it wasn’t pretty. My favorite glues these days are scotch create permanent glue stick and pva glue like bearly art glue or lineco books by hand. You can find both on Amazon. Hope this helps! 💕

Madilyn here. I just love this vintage Nursery Song book. You did a beautiful job with the pastel color scheme and doing exactly what the buyer wanted. I would love to know, where do you get all your vintage things. Do you go to flea markets like Diane Hubert does. I love to see her hauls. You have so many interesting vintage things in each journal. I'm so glad Diane told us to go over to your channel. I love everything you do. (Just like I do with Diane.) Thanks for sharing this book with us.
Hi Madilyn! Unfortunately I don’t have access to the flea markets like Diane does 😢 I find things sometimes at thrift stores and also rely heavily on finding items from other Etsy sellers and eBay. It gets a little costly sometimes but I try to buy things in “lots” so that each piece is a little less. Whenever I get gift cards for holidays I’ve tried to use them to treat myself to some special ephemera and so I have very slowly built a stash. I’m so glad Diane shared my channel also! I’ve made great new “friends”. I love the connection social media provides because I don’t have many in my life who get what I do 😂 I usually get some weird looks 😊
I agree that some dont understand the journal thing. I just love them. I have collected some that I would be lucky at getting. It looks like your farm journal sold already. I just tried looking. It was so cute. You did a wonderful job on it. I have 2 of Diane's, one of Karla Frizzell, yours of course and one of Dear Julie Julie. I have tried doing some of the Better Homes and Garden cookbooks for me and my twin sister. I love doing them but never good enough to sell them on line. Just for enjoyment. Keep up the good work.
@@davidbeaner5543 wow you are a collector. Those are all great makers! I’m so glad you have tried your hand at making! It just takes practice. I know my first journals were nooot good! Plus we are our own worst critic
