Why foot is completely covered up,. Is it only to coverup the mistakes done in foot work. It adds so much
Grace if foot work is shown.

Hello, this is a traditional jaipur gharana costume, this is the normal length of any kathak ghagra. When one is doing footwork specifically, the ghagra is help up just above the feet so that they are visible ☺️

yes quite right...the failure of videographer who might be insensitive to understand the language of kathak, it happens in many of the dance performances posted ..
