  • On this episode of Rock Rods Rock Bouncers hit a man made hill climb obstacle course in Kentucky. DTOR Birthday Bash takes place every year at Dirty Turtle Off Road Park in Bedford, Kentucky and draws a massive crowd. For 2017 they have a man made course with a mix of dirt hills, tires, and slabs of concrete. Rain has soaked the course overnight and with a $10,000 Bounty on the line it should get pretty wild. We have some of the best Rock Bouncing drivers in the sport ready to go so let's see who gets that money!

    TC's drive was insane - you have to see it to believe it. Jeez, he can surely drive. It's like there's only one perfect route up the hill and Tim is the only dude with the map, inch perfect, calm, cool and calculated. Never tire of watching him. Wish we had this sport in the UK. Thanks for the upload Busted Knuckle - that was a joy to see.

    What a awesome show. Timmy going hard like always. That buggy just flat out works. And the outlaw buggy is seeing plenty of podium time as well. This sport has evolved so well. It's really awesome seeing it grow in both Drivers, Equipment and Fans. Thanks for the Grade A quality content Matt and the rest of the Busted Knuckle Team

      We try to keep viewers engaged with the show, names and live leaderboard build the suspense of what is going on. Outlaw came out of no where and built a big fan base this season.

    seeing as how well Outlaw does
    I wonder how many independent suspension rigs are in the works for next year?

    • @BustedKnuckleVideo

      You think independent is the future of rock racing?

    • @alteredstateskustom
      @alteredstateskustom 7 років тому

      BustedKnuckleVideo personally I like solid axle buggys
      But I know most sports evolve.
      It wouldn't surprise me if he started a trend.
      The rig works really well. I'm sure it's not just because of the independent suspension.
      The CG seems low on it too

    • @BustedKnuckleVideo
      @BustedKnuckleVideo  7 років тому +2

      sitting the engine next to him really allowed him to keep it low

      BustedKnuckleVideo yeah, and helps with the front/rear weight bias too

    • @buckbundy8642
      @buckbundy8642 6 років тому

      Watching him launch compared to other buggies with traditional front mount engines, it’s like comparing the style of dirt bike jumping where you hit the double and rise to the heavens and get a slower time or the guys who whip it sideways super low to the ground and cut tenths of seconds instead of gaining.
      It stays so level for the most part. I bet that’s gotta be loud as devil with 454 cubes of super charged and nitrous fed engine porn screaming at full song in the passenger seat! 🤤

      @@BustedKnuckleVideo Unfortunate to see someone spend so much time and money on something and then ignore one of the more important parts of the vehicle. Horsepower and grip don't help you any if the wheels spend more time in the air than on the ground.

    So I am a DIEHARD Hollingsworth/Outlaw fan that is by far the baddest buggy in the
    Series. When it comes to how a buggy sounds, well I personally think that Matt Schuessler's Buggy sounds the best by far, idk what he is running but its sounds amazing. I live in St. Louis, MO and I live about 45 miles from Moonlight Offroad Park, Which is the last Course before the Finals and ive watched them and still think Matt's buggy sounds the best especially live.

    • @BustedKnuckleVideo

      Schuessler is running an LS motor with 180 degree headers. The headers give it that unique sound.
