- On Rock Rods Episode 54 we are heading to Busted Knuckle Off Road Park in Stevenson, Alabama for Race 2 of the Pro Rock Racing Series Tour 2018. We have the best rock bouncers in the Country signed up to hit the Waterfall. The waterfall is pretty much a Bounty Hill and the drivers only have 2 minutes to make it out the top. Will anyone climb it?

That silver and black buggy with the kings had a stupid sounding motor, the wheels speed was nuts on that rig. Actually most of these guys had stupid wheels speed, and they aren't turning 35's either lol. Happy to see one make it.
Big engine and high gears because sometimes wheel speed is all that will get you out the top

It's the best rock n' roll there is. Gotta admit love my LS1, I put on a set of PowerFlo axle-back pipes with glass packs that are just about totally wide open, now. About all I can get away with on the street without getting a ticket. Can't help it, old-time hot rodder from the late '50s. My '52 Mercs sounded great too (had 2 of 'em, wrecked both, long story), flatheads make uniquely beautiful music too, especially through blown out glass packs & Scavenger Pipes. MmmMmm... 😉

So it went from "make it or break it style" to an unreasonably short time limit?
Tyler Hensley I think they have so many competitors now that they have to limit the time for them to complete the course.
Kyle Cunningham yes but as a spectator it kinda sucks. They should do another hill to qualify for this one and only have a third the field and at least twice as much time.
Or have 2 timing points, if you make it past the first point in 2 minutes you keep going, if not you get DQ. Could allow a bit more time than they did but cant take forever..
There was a lot of racing going on this day. Yes the short time limit sucked but it was the only way to get all of the racing in that day.
Some people had more time then others why

Am I missing something within the editing of the video that makes it seems like some drivers are given more time than others or does it depend on how squared up they are once reaching the rock-wall?
They give them more time if they are making forward momentum

I was rooting so hard for everybody to make it up that cliffMan. The parts in these crawlers are fn tough. How are the transmissions that responsive between going forward and reverse in a split second is mind-boggling.
