I think Matt fits with the McFly boys really well!!! He's always up for all the silly stuff and seems to be hanging out with the other 4. James however is never in any of it. He might not like being in all these videos and social media stuff, but even in interviews he doesn't really seem to fit into the band...he's like the odd one out (imho)
It's because he's insecure. If you watch the videos of him during the Busted days he was one hyper guy, doing silly stuff etc. He just gets a lot of unnecessary hate nowadays, mostly from mcfly fans as they blame him for the whole delay of mcfly, that's probably why he seems out of it sometimes. People tend to be very critical of his behaviour. If you see him on stage it's a different story however, he fits into the band perfectly and he seems way more relaxed. I met him not too long ago and he was the sweetest guy ever! You could tell he loves mcbusted and being in a band with the mcfly guys.
