Feels like only yesterday that you guys were setting out. Just goes to show that if you want to do something, do it because the time will pass anyway. Now you have all those 52(!) videos to look back on. Watching you guys set out on your adventure was the push I needed to find the courage to finally go ahead and request my own sabbatical from work (happening in spring next year!!). Love you guys and look forward to following the baby + build series!

First timer here- loved the video! Kind of off the subject but I just returned from a 2 wk camping trip on Vancouver Island. WOW what beauty and how lucky are you to live there. Being from Southern California where the weather is great but nature not so much (ie asphalt everywhere), I was so impressed with everything about Canada. The pristine campgrounds, the friendliest people, (even the airport employees) and the fact that I always felt safe. Can’t wait to explore more of your fabulous country! And of course a big Congratulations!!!

It’s always so interesting to me to hear people refer to Mexico as North America. At least for me where I grew up in the states the school system very clearly labeled Mexico as and all of those beautiful countries between Mexico and the South American continent as “Central America”. So hearing this North America trip was in Mexico half the time was interesting. I mean it’s probably just a terminology difference between countries and such and i don’t mean to offended if calling that region Central America instead of North is not good but just something I grew up with. Love the trip though! So many good spots! The police incident at the beginning of the trip was a very very unfortunate wrong place wrong time kind of thing. That was just unfortunately bad luck but I hope in your future endeavors your luck flips around compared to that. Also I’ve watching since your zero waste videos before moving into the new apartment and it’s been a good ride. Keep up the good work!

I thought Leah was one of those lucky girls that was going to breeze through with no nausea morning sickness etc. I had no idea Leah was so sick. You did amazing getting through your trip Leah. I don’t think I could of done it .I was so sick during both of my pregnancy’s I had morning noon and night sickness right to the end and was evening vomiting during labour I know ,tmi
