I've Dell Latitude 5530 with this processor. It gets mediocre battery life but damn, even after hour of playing Shadown of Tomb Raider it's just warm. Less way than my old laptop. GPU usage is 100% but CPU is mostly around 5%. I play 720p, medium settings with low texture resolution and Intel xxe on balanced. I'm getting around 30 fps with drops to 25 in village with lot of people.

All in all im very satisfied having in mind i spent like 600$ on it, and i can play pretty much anything except the newest games, which is plenty, but i wouldn't pay 1k$ for it.

Their core counts, and tdp are purposefully cut so tiny laptops don't thermal throttle to oblivion. Gaming laptop meanwhile, are much thicker, and heavier. They can run the h versions which have a much higher tdp and core count.

Now I can't stand going below 40fps.

You would think with powerful hardware that the PS5 and Series X uses, that companies like Intel would introduce IGP's that are capable of rivaling the PS5 and Series X without the need of having a full on PC. You'd think Intel's IGP would be more powerful in todays age. This Iris XE barely just barely cuts it in 2023, This IGP is basically A GTX 950 which is years years years old. I thought IGP's would be much further in performance levels by now.

No bro it depends on the tdp this chip runs at 15 watts which is shared betweens the cpu and gpu the 1240p has more p cores and has a higher tdp which performs better then this and that gpu is clocked higher

Valorant is the first game and it's more optimized than CSGO. Fortnite is actually quite demanding now so it's not really a good suggestion.

No bro it depends on the tdp this chip runs at 15 watts which is shared betweens the cpu and gpu the 1240p has more p cores and has a higher tdp which performs better then this and that gpu is clocked higher

I have an HP 14s with a 5300u processor that does not overheat during my initial use or gaming Genshin Impact. But just in case, I use my old cooling pad.
