Guess what both places refused to allow me to film my packages and toks me it was against the law. To get images of my hands on my mail being given to them and sandown trippled the price of the same exact thing I mailed on raymomd. Postal inspector refuses refund. 15 packages billed 3 times more than necessary and I get no refund, the government needs to wake up.

That puts a damper on using “wire-tapping” laws to stop people recording in public, even in so-called two-party-consent states.

I think that permission thing comes from people seeing tv companies asking people they video to sign a release. But that pertains to commercial video used on a tv show.

Closing a public facility 2 hours every day for lunch does seem a bit excessive. A half hour should do it but staggered breaks would work too; it wouldn't kill the postmaster or supervisor to do counter duty so the grunts can take lunch.
That’s not how post office scheduling works…The local management doesn’t randomly decide the hours lmao. It’s also not closed for 2 hours. The sign is literally on the door telling you how long it’s closed. Literally posts the text on the screen incorrectly then shows the sign as he walks out the door lol.

Imagine you had a restaurant, closed during lunch because that is the staff time to eat lunch... staff needs to eat later or earlier and accommodate when public needs to run their business at your business, part of the job. Good job pointing that out, and again handled yourself and the audit in your entertaining and educational way. Look forward to the next one here from Canada.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how wonderful that post office looks, at least from the outside? You usually don't see many like that anymore. They're just old brick buildings half the time.
They should be able to lock lobby during lunch and still have access to PO Boxes

I'm not a American but this seems crazy in supposedly a free country.
Closing a public facility 2 hours every day for lunch does seem a bit excessive. A half hour should do it but staggered breaks would work too; it wouldn't kill the postmaster or supervisor to do counter duty so the grunts can take lunch.
That’s not how post office scheduling works…The local management doesn’t randomly decide the hours lmao. It’s also not closed for 2 hours. The sign is literally on the door telling you how long it’s closed. Literally posts the text on the screen incorrectly then shows the sign as he walks out the door lol.
