Post Master was cool. Good for him. My respect goes out to him. And I appreciate his professionalism. It's never lost on the public. Bless him for his efforts to be decent and human. I like happy endings just as much as the negative encounters quite frankly ❤

@Big Dog it's pretty simple, if you don't want to be recorded, put your hand over your face in some way and walk away from the camera. Recognize that the camera there was nothing about you and don't make it about you.

The post master looked alittle nervous but did great. I was surprised he didn't know that part of poster 7. Very impressed he was willing to see where it was. The FedEx was just a snowflake moron. Also the manbaby who cussed you out needs to not bring himself attention if he doesn't want to be in front of a camera. Great job!✌️👍🤓

I used to do that for a company that I used to work for.
Train people on how to interact politely with the public. And no the customer is not always right, it's your job to let them THINK they are,even when they are not.

How sad is it when a postmaster who simply performs his job properly is seen as exceptional, and is praised. Much like praising a cop who doesn’t try to violate your rights. Good for him.

@@jonajeremy Always was my method when managing: praise for desired behavior and gentle private constructive criticism for undesired actions. But, it still saddens me that our expectations for government workers is so low that even minimal performance is the best we can expect, and anything more is seen as the exception.
I've watched dozens of USPS audits. First time I've ever seen a Postmaster get an A+! I've seen employees get A+ but then supervisor and/or postmaster failed.
The Postmaster was super professional cordial respectful and willing to learn ! Superb job! 👍

you would think that the post office would send out a new memo to all employees telling them not to engage cameras since it's legal to film in and around Federal Property that's not restricted

When those and most other postal vehicles used today came around backup cameras did not exist. The D.O.T. STILL has not issued guidelines for backup cameras in any vehicles. Maybe in those new electric ones will have it.

I did auto glass for years and we've replaced windshields in those mail vehicles, they're the dumbest design, you have to remove the windshield from the *inside* of the vehicle, guess their afraid someone's going to steal the windshield?... Major pain in the rump!

You have TWO choices !! 1 - You can allow auditors to do what they are legally allowed to do and spend a few minutes with them if needed and get on with your day nice and happy OR 2 - You can be a Karen and cause a massive problem for everyone and end up causing everyone to be annoyed with each other and end up ruining you and others day. I think its easy to choose.

Best postmaster I’ve seen on any audit. All USPS postmasters and supervisors should be required to watch this video. It’s really not too difficult to be professional and courteous like Steve, but so few USPS personnel seem to be able to conduct themselves this way.
Some of those customers are a lot crazy but Postmaster Steve is a solid PASS.

There is a struggle going on right now with the post office, some want more gas delivery vehicles going forward and some want electric.
I find it amusing that tree huggers want coal powered vehicles. 🤣
@@dougkennedy4906 It appears to be a perfect application for electric vehicles, plenty of over night charging time, low speed operation, lots of stop and go driving. The application makes the electrics shine and is more brutal on gas vehicles than any other type of operation.
There's virtually no maintenance on electrics and the fuel prices is one tenth of gas. So, from a financial standpoint, it's a no brainer.
Whether electric vehicles will kill us all in the end is uncertain.

The Simplex door lock at the loading dock is preset to one code. Press 2 and 4 at the same time, then press 3. It takes a little time to change the code and most people never change them.
