Awesome tune, way better than the jazzed up original version (88-89?) on par with the classic original, this theme was the theme when I watched GH and was (in several different variations) the theme to 2007's series as the last series went back to a variation of the original
Mark Rogers Firstly I uploaded this just for the credits theme, I couldn't get that bit out and that was the only one with the full outro at the time. But if I remember correctly, one of the kids brought it into school cos he had nowhere else to put it, he had it shut in a cupboard but it escaped and then got by the room they were all in and barked the place down.
Set in a fictional place called Northam. Filmed mostly in and around London from 1978 to 1985, then in Hertfordshire from 1985 to 2002, then in Liverpool from the 26th series til it was cancelled

There's no war between the two themes mate, both were good, one lasted 11 years, the other 18 years longer. What it comes down to in the end for Grange Hill fans, is both themes played a massive part in our lives and will be remembered for many reasons.

Hulk2k6 I was one of them even at 8 years old. The tone went from jovial to serious, it was like watching a different programme.
What was even more of a shock to my system was discovering that Chicken Man was the original theme for Give Us A Clue 😁
