@@SavonSaysyeah I’ve noticed it’s random sometimes I’ll have people like seager and judge fall off into year 2 of my sim and sometimes they’ll last all the way until their 37 same with goldy sometimes he will increase in stats or become a 60 overall after the 1st year of sim
Not saying this as an excuse, cause a drop off at specifically 31 for everyone ever sucks, but I have noticed that players do not drop off hard if they play 162 and most importantly *do not slump*. It seems like the game doesn’t specifically say “this person is old, kill their stats” but it says “ this person can’t progress anymore, only calculate negative attribute changes” So for me, I tested with JD Marinez. In one franchise, I had him player locked and batting near mvp level, and it took him 3 years to get below 80, while leaving him Simmed got him into the 70s in one year. Having him not signed got him in the 70s before the end of the season. It’s very odd but seems manageable if you have a favorite player that you want to have a long career.
You’d be lucky to see guys make it to 35 lol. MLB is so bad with their progression and regression, a guy could hit 40 homers and bat 300 and then will be unplayable by 32
Would love for you to show us the roster of your playoff opponents like you used to and when you would step in and sim in game from time to time. Really made watching a lot more immersive. Love the content bro, cheers.
@ they almost always never update potential too. They give someone a 6 overall boost but don’t change his potential so they just decrease in overall anyway.
I found a really good one the other day, I’ll share it when I get home tonight. I’ve been looking for a good one since the end of the season, the one I found is updated stats at end of season based on this year, for prospects too, and I believe it has all of the international players that are coming.
These last two playoff runs are just like the real Astros. They play better on the road than at home in the playoffs for whatever reason. Look at 19 we went 0-4 at home in the WS. We lost the last two to the Rangers in the 23 LCS at home.
People can complain about trades, but many didn't think the Astros would trade Tucker, but they didn't in the blink of an eye. Also, they let Bregman and Correa walk.
There is no way Chas is a 77 ovr, and Jake Meyers is an 80 ovr... Chas should be a little better. At least their overall should be swapped imo Also, Never. Trade. Chas. Again. Or. I. Will. Be. Under. Your. Bed. Next. Time.
@ absolutely. Hitting stats were also ridiculously high (that being said the whole game was way too hitter friendly. RTTS wasn’t even a challenge this year even on legend and I’m not even that good.) and whatever they use to determine trades and signings suck cuz most of them don’t make sense
I wish the show did what 2k did back in 2012, have a peak start and end, instead of everyone just falling off a cliff at 35
Shit although The Show doesn’t, I’ve seen Teoscar at damn near 40 have the same stats and still have MVP caliber numbers

Gaylord Bauer is a crazy name... for more reasons than one.
What roster do you use?
Man I hope he answers, only thing I know is to download current rosters but there never up to date.

@@RyanAndAirwaveshave you found it yet?
He uses a decent roster but he has changed it to how he thinks it should be

After the Abreu signing absolutely crashed and burned I am a fan of the Astros getting Christian Walker, seems like a good fit
Yea and we need to fix our out field with profar or Santander and we need bullpen arm this team would be good
Happy new year Ant 🎉🎉
Verlander at a 67 is disgusting 💀
Astros brass said they don’t do contracts over 5 years. That’s why they let everyone walk
Gaylord Bauer career sim next
As an Astros fan, the game was pretty realistic with the offense not showing up for the post season 😂
We need more videos like this
People can complain about trades, but many didn't think the Astros would trade Tucker, but they didn't in the blink of an eye. Also, they let Bregman and Correa walk.
Yessir we back❗️❗️❗️
Verlander is a FA in 25' so the roster is definitely off. He didn't vest to granted his 35mil opt.
I miss the 1 hour+ rebuilds lol
Was madeninng what the computer said Alvarez was doing in the playoffs. He has been a good playoff hitter.
Rebuild the Giants next please
Casto career sim!!!
Braves next ?
how does walker aav equal bregman and tucker?
YES FINALLY
12:01 verlander retires
Verlander is a free agent tho
Justin Verlander rated a 67 OVR? Man
🐜=🐐
Rebuild the rats next pls

you should see his stats on my franchise...lol don't know how he progressed so much lol
Verlander??
Walker signed for 60m not 50
Best glitch players for 24' and go......
I have yet to find a 2-way player in any draft
Washington nationals rebuild
Franchise going to be a bust again? thoughts?...going continue to play 24' if no changes...no reason to buy a roster update for offline franchise mode
Verlander is a FA
Rosters this year are the worse I’ve ever seen
they were horrible...too many relievers rated under 70 and too many D Potential players...

Please finish the retool of the yankees without Juan Soto
Houston never valid stole a mvp from judge and a ws appearance
You mean Huston trash cans 😊
