The rules of the playlist are thus. The British and original version of Dancing with the Stars has a fairly large international cast especially the professional dancers who partner the celebs but sometimes the celebs themselves have International roots so I looked at the best performing country I could link to a pro or celeb for each series and have shown footage of a dance from that series . The dance was choreographed by pro dancer Hanna Kuttman who is German who did ok in 2004. She danced it too originally with this guy who is a pretty good actor and a nice guy (he was only 20 years old when he competed too) but a terrible dancer so she kinda had them do comedy routines like this one. This became so iconic for all the 'wrong' reasons he was invited back to perform it on the first tour in early 2008 and this is where this footage is from. I sadly can't find the original dance from series one but the pro dancer is actually South African originally and they rather unfairly sacked her after this despite her ex husband winning that series.
The professional dancer is Nicole Cutler, who was my own dance teacher for many years and a good friend to myself too. She was a professional on strictly before Matthew cutler, she joined in series 2 and matthews first series was the following season 3 (I also had lessons from him too). Strictly was only a small fraction of their success together. They were World, European & International Amateur Champion in 1999. And i still believe they are the king and Queen of jive 💜
@@dixie_nix She seems a lovely person too. Strictly's Cinderella who deserved so much better especially after getting Dairmud Gavin as her first partner - God he was awful! Still at least she met her husband through the program. I hope she's doing well. Matt always struck me as a great teacher too and a thoroughly nice guy.

I will never forget him just standing there bopping his head whilst Nicole was spinning like a top on week one season 2 cha cha 🤣 Yes, she did meet her wonderful husband through mark ramprakash. They have a beautiful daughter together. Strictly is responsible for many romances and happy endings. It gets called the “strictly curse” … but when people find the love of their lives how can that be a curse? It’s beautiful
@@dixie_nix It might aswell be called 'strictly sh agging ' . And that's very well finding 'romance' but some of these people were ALREADY IN relationships , Its ok for the single ones who got together but the others pretty much cheated on their current partners 🙄.
