I have huge respect for Brisbane Roar. They signed Rafa not only because of marketing purposes, but actually giving him playing time that he needs. Quite the opposite of what some of his Indonesian teammates experienced with clubs abroad. I hope he continues to deliver results for BR

As Indonesian i said no, i think 4th place already good achievement for our team, i wont dream too high like other Indonesian supporters, especially when i seen quality of our players at the moment. I try to think logically, because this is a hell group and we have to admit that.
I beg to disagree. It is true, along with Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Australia this is a group of death but we have decent players to compete with these Asian giants it's just they have not been playing as a team yet. Aside from Japan and probably Australia we do have better players over all to China, Bahrain and even aging Saudis, so third place in the group to get into playoff and making it through won't be impossible! 🙏

I actually don't mind this heritage-based national team selection. If more mixed-heritage players start choosing underdog countries, it could change football for the better. Smaller nations would become more competitive, making tournaments more exciting and less predictable. It would also inspire local talent and encourage investment in football development, helping close the gap with the top teams. This shift could bring a fresh dynamic to the sport globally.
