What I love about these parents, quite apart from the fact that they are truly top bloke/sheila, is their no fuss attitude to hygiene with their kids. Wolfie picking up his dummy from the dirt and shoving it in his mouth made me snort! Bet they are the healthiest kids on the block. Let’s not forget the patting, kissing of the dogs and cat and reciprocated licks. I’m 76 and this is how we were brought up, mud pies and all. So wonderful to see the brothers in action. Teamwork! Sam, as soon as I heard your first sniffle talking about Rover, I started bawling myself. I know how full your household is, but I guess I knew you would find a way for one more. Please tell us how we can help. What do you need? You give so much, let us give to you!
Were you thinking back to Yo-yo? When Auntie Sam cries, you’re IN mate. I admire the silence in these videos. Every minute doesn’t have to be filled. Luke pondering taking Rover defined “meaningful silence “.
I couldn't bear it when Rover went back to the shelter the 1st video but not my place to say otherwise...then watching the Rover update I was silently pleading thinking I could cancel my yearly RAC car cover and Which Magazine subscriptions so I could join... I feel Rover must also feel confused after finding heaven on earth and skipping happily down the driveway with Chance only to find he was back at the shelter, let alone the physical struggle going on inside him...God Bless you both, sincerely, Sam and Luke ⛄🎄🎀
I cried also. I just donated what I could for Rovers vet bill that they will cover. If everyone donated just $5(or your countries currency) it would go a long way. 💜🐶❤️
How to word this. Auntie Sam and Uncle Luke have found in each other, their perfect partners. Luke deals with the cold, hard facts and Sam deals with the emotions. Not to infer that Luke doesn’t get emotional. He does and I’ve seen it. e.g. Driving the bus on the last day of day care and getting teary. It’s so wonderful to see you two work together on whatever hurdle life throws at you this week. Thanks for sharing all the highs and the lows with us. They say a problem shared is a problem halved. Bless you all.✨✨
Sam has a heart of Gold & love for all these pups. I was in tears for Rover..until Sam said he should stay...then it was happy tears.. & The dogs all deserve to know what it is to be loved & cared for. &THE FARM is the perfect place.
Thanks Luke and Sam, for taking Rover into the pack for the holidays, he seems like a totally different dog when he's at the Farm. ❤️ Also If anyone wants to donate, do so through the Farm website as then Luke and Sam get all the donation, and not lose 30% when it goes through UA-cam. Also don't forget to like, subscribe and comment on all rge videos, as this all helps Luke and Sam financially too. 👍 🙂
I haven't watched in 2 mo or so, I get stressed watching all these shelter dogs get rehabilitated and no one adopts. I just opened my home to my 4th shelter dog, making a total of 5 dogs. Why can't people just open their hearts to one? God bless you!
So nice to see everyone having fun setting up for Christmas. It’s a treat to see three Evans brothers working together. Elle is a magician now, following in the steps of Uncle Seamus. And hats off to you Sam and Luke for all that you do for the dogs. ❤️❤️❤️
In light of the situation & growing number of mouths to feed....possibly a suggestion that we focus on sending monetary donations instead of dog /family gifts for the next couple of months to help with increasing grocery & medical bills?
Rover's "rebellion" is understandable, and ya'll understood. He's so lucky there's "The Farm", with a big ol' heart. This IS a wonderful Christmas present. Thank you.
Sam, when you go to pieces, I go to pieces! Something tells me you might need a bigger farm! Rover is like an unfolding story and have we just scratched the surface? It's hard to imagine him being aggressive - we can clearly see he's no pushover and Rosco might remind him where he is if he pushes his luck, but my God, he seems SO happy. Again, you two are really something else. Will keep watching. X
What a joy seeing you all participating in assembling the Christmas truck, having a laugh, asking great questions, puppers loving on everyone, staffy sisters enjoying their chin scratches, Hope getting in line for one too, Freddy unsuccessfully trying to get Gus to play…all really enjoyable thank you Evans Clan PS Truck looks amazing 🤩 awesome news Rover has come to stay, hope his surgery goes well and his recovery short and sweet, thank you for opening your hearts again, you’re both very special people 🙏
It’s lovely how your heart gives a little lift when there’s a new video from the Farm 🐶 It’s always a joy whatever is going on. Nice for Luke to have his brothers here. It’s these times we value as we become adults with our own families, recapturing the close bond from growing up together 🤗. Thank you for opening your hearts even wider for Rover 💝
Ok, you stepping up for Rover when you are already full plus floating the funding on his surg has made me step up and subscribe at the $10/mo level. I will cut corners elsewhere in the budget where it isn’t matters of life and death. Bless you all for all you do!
Dear Sam, please don't worry too much about Rover, until he is spay/neutered he might not settle so quickly. It will take some time for Rover and never give up hope that there is a wonderful human family that will give Rover a loving forever home.
I don't think we knew that Rover's health wasn't good. Thank you for helping him and for bringing him to the Farm. I hope his surgery goes well. Every dog deserves a happy life.
When Sam said we have the funds, we need to make an appointment ASAP my heart skipped a beat. There was no hesitation, no second guessing just a pure heart looking to help yet another precious soul.
He's a good boy; Sam is vey sensitive to all the dogs, so I don't have any doubt when her and Luke make a decision. I personally appreciate hearing about unique bodies being loved no matter what, human or otherwise. Loveable all the same.
Variation on the outside, variation on the inside. We often don't think about it, but there is CONSIDERABLE variation in human bodies between one person and the next. The number of men unknowingly walking around with fallopian tubes (non-functioning) would shock most people. Most of those men will live out their lives never knowing themselves. We now know that every complex animal species has variations in reproductive anatomy. 'Normal' is just the middle of the Bell Curve, aka common.
@@bartwilson2513 Yes, I remember learning at uni in the 90s just how common it is for humans to be intersex to some degree. You'd think there's only man & woman, but that's not reality at all. Can't say I've ever pondered intersex animals though. I'm glad Rover found the Evanses who are accepting of all sorts of natural variations in our canine friends. 🏳🌈
@@frolickinglions Yep. Without the ability for variation, life on Earth wouldn't exist. It comes with good and bad, like all things. I'm glad Rover found the Farm, too.
Sam, I was right there sniffling and weeping with you 🥺. I’m so glad that you have decided to offer Rover a place to stay, and that you will be considering his surgery. These mixed up reproductive organs can crest such havoc, and it’s good to take them out asap. My late dog Bruty, who we adopted at age 2, did not have a scrotum, so we assumed that he had been neutered. 7 years later, he started losing his beautiful, glossy, black top coat leaving only the undercoat , developing breasts, and show changes to his external genitalia, along with getting bad urinary tract infections. It turned out that he had undescended testicles which became an estrogen-secreting cancer called Sertolis. So he was literally turning into a girl! He had a big surgery to take it out, and he recovered fully, and we were able to get another 4 years with him. So, if your dog has undescended testicles, please get them taken out, it just might save his life later. On a lighter note, if only Rover knew what Roscoe is capable of 😱! He would not be egging him on like he is! Yet another testament to Luke’s efforts to rehabilitate these impossible dogs successfully 👍👍!
I enjoyed seeing the brothers working together & playing with the dogs. And Ben trying to get one over on Elle!!! She really caught on to that trick. Wolf giving his daddy his hat back was the sweetest thing. He just wants to be involved in everything that the men do & anything to do with big trucks etc. When it comes to Rover, my niece had a pug that had both sexes. They had to do surgery right away. Luckily she wasn't having any infections or anything. She didn't have the outward male but did have the testicles internally. Really a strange thing but it happens. I'm glad they were able to figure this out. Thank you for your sweet, loving hearts. Rover will get taken care of because of you all. I am sure Dee thinks she died & went to heaven when you all found her. Luckiest day in her life (shelter life). You both have hearts of gold. Just listening to Sam cry, had me going. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Oh, gee. Watching Luke's face talking about Rover -ok - we got it.Hearing Sam - bless your loving heart ask the question - THANKYOU!!!!!! I have to donate to this dogs wellbeing and see other good people have done so - guess I can find it on the website - if not, someone please tip me off. Rover needs help!
You guys are the best. Such cariing people, Rover needs all the help he can get asap and you all came through. Massive respect for all your commitment to these dogs.
also, there is a reminder of the sad little Yo Yo growling in the kennel - so upset and sad - and the farm trip turned him around and Sam couldn't see him go back! Some dogs are just too sensitive (ok, they all are), but the going back does something to some of them that is detrimental and Sam spots it. Thanks Sam, for looking after the dogs that just can't handle it. Please let us donate to support Rover. Happy to help out!
The dog doesn’t want to be there in the shelter. The brothers look, sound alike and their mannerisms are the same. Wow. I swear that Freddo was looking at the shelter dog thinking that he was looking at himself.
Sam you are precious ❣️. I love how you feel such love for these dogs, even ones you barely know. I was holding my breath hoping that Rover would end up staying with you guys. Once again Thank you for helping these dogs.
Evans family- please consider posting a video to “the Dodo” on UA-cam. They have over 12 million members, and it is a great way to get exposure for the farm and get new members. They put your social media information in the description. They have a series called “little but fierce”. The video of miss. Violet and her journey would fit in really well. They are also huge advocates for bully breeds.
Luke knows when Sam tears up there's another dog that HAS to stay. I love this family. Maybe Rover knows that he doesn't have to be tough in the pack because he knows right where he would fit in. 🤔 He would have a job. Goodness I got to the end. Poor Rover!
Rover knows where he belongs--where he has friends and room to roam and play--and a family who loves him. I feel as you do, Sam. It breaks my heart to see Rover go back to the shelter. ❤️❤️❤️🐶🤗🤗🤗🎄🎅
I am getting happy tears what you guys are doing for rover. I know space is getting limited at your farm but how wonderful it is what you are doing for him. You guys are really spreading the magic ❤️💚
Auntie Sam and Uncle Luke Will you please keep us updated on Rover? Another dog in crisis receiving love from you. He stole my heart and I am guessing that he stole more hearts than mine

Thank you for video.thank you for Rover and all the dogs too. I love your woonderful kids. I wish to give a big kiss to Sam for her humanity and tenderness for all the dogs (you are a fantastic woman)
What a wonderful video from watching the brothers working together to make sure everything is perfect for the holidays and the family, to the children enjoying their Uncle Shamus' magic trick, which smart Elle figured out right away, to the story and outcome for Rover. He's one lucky baby. Sam and Luke your hearts are as big as the moon. We cry with you Sam for the sad lives these babies go through but they have you guys to give them the best life possible ❤️❤️❤️ God bless you all for the love and compassion you have 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Gawwwd I have run out of tissues Sam.🥰🥰🥰. Pleased for Rover it looked like it may be going that way his last visit with you. He has picked his pack.💚💙💜❤
This video is Chance showing all his love and devotion to his rescuer ! Very nice to see him again from back a year ago ! And there is Miss Violet ! FREDO, and Roscoe ! And a lot of the doggy daycare dogs !
Whenever I see the truck it always reminds me of Miss Violet when she climbed up and I can still hear Sam’s voice “oh Miss Violet” with Love, laughter and OMG in her tone!🎄💕💕🎄
Christmas preps with the truck are looking comfy, fun and lovely, Evans Boys! Brilliant magic, Elle and Uncle Seamus. Wolfie, you handled that excavator like a pro. Uncle Ben, you need a few extra sets of arms, like the Hindu gods, to film anyone sitting or lying down in the grass by the truck. Everyone with four paws knows your name means love and wants their share - and seconds and thirds. That room next door to Chance was reserved for Rover. He just hadn't signed the guest register yet. Poor sweetheart, being unable to tell everyone exactly what was going wrong for him on all fronts. As another commenter said, he found his angels in you. Praying for a prompt appointment and successful outcome. Well done, Luke and Sam. Bright blessings, all. 🐾🐾💜💜💜😃😃😃
Rover is another special angel sent your way.....this was meant to be. I know you guys will do the best for him. God will continue blessing your family for all of your sacrifices and all that you do for these dogs.
Dear, Dear Sam how loving you are. I was crying along with you and felt your heartache. Saying thanks for who you are and what you do for these darling animals isn't enough. I do so admire you. I have had many rescue dogs and always take the ones people don't want. The old, only one ear, the deaf, jutting out teeth, going blind. I couldn't have left them behind and in return each dog gave me soooo much love. There is nothing better than giving the truely unwanted a home.
OK to my question below. EASY!!!...I went to their site and pushed the DONATE button. I donated $50.00 US but lost some in the conversion so will try to add a bit more in the coming days...Come on friends we can do this for Rover, Dee, Luke and Sam for the AMAZING work that they do.
When I watched the video last week of "Rover from the shelter hangs out with the pack", I said a prayer for him that he would come to stay at the Farm. I don't know what it was, but I could sense that he NEEDED to be there for his peace of mind. Now, he will be, and I am happy for him. He really is a beautiful dog.
I finally 'got it' and went to their website to donate, but sent it to Salty Dawg Pty ltd...hoping The Farm gets the full donation AND no tax is taken! Thank you to my Aussie cousins for guiding m to this amazing site - loving it! Many blessings to you ALL at the farm, Geraldine (Western Canada)

@@MrsEJV I sure was, Elizabeth. Sam’s heart overflows with love and compassion.
When Sam cries, I cry!!😢
Bless you all.✨✨
I think he does behind his shades..you can hear Sam and see Luke struggle...bless them both
Sam has a heart of Gold & love for all these pups.
Also If anyone wants to donate, do so through the Farm website as then Luke and Sam get all the donation, and not lose 30% when it goes through UA-cam.
Also don't forget to like, subscribe and comment on all rge videos, as this all helps Luke and Sam financially too. 👍 🙂
Thank you for helping Rover. You always do as much as possible to support these animals. This will be a very special Christmas at the farm.
God bless you for helping Rover. You truly are God's gift to us all.
Dee is a powerhouse! All that she does for the dogs, and cats, and then turns up with caramel pies and vanilla slices- legend! Thank you Dee! xxx
You are the biggest-hearted people ever! How lucky Rover is to have you scoop him up in your loving care.
Fredo has his bow tie back.👏👏👏
Rover's "rebellion" is understandable, and ya'll understood. He's so lucky there's "The Farm", with a big ol' heart. This IS a wonderful Christmas present. Thank you.
Welcome back Rover!! What a Christmas bonus for us all ❤️🐾🦴❤️
Sam, when you go to pieces, I go to pieces! X
Thank you for taking care of Rover, both financially and emotionally. You both have such good hearts!
What a joy seeing you all participating in assembling the Christmas truck, having a laugh, asking great questions, puppers loving on everyone, staffy sisters enjoying their chin scratches, Hope getting in line for one too, Freddy unsuccessfully trying to get Gus to play…all really enjoyable thank you Evans Clan PS Truck looks amazing 🤩 awesome news Rover has come to stay, hope his surgery goes well and his recovery short and sweet, thank you for opening your hearts again, you’re both very special people 🙏
Thank you for helping Rover. You are Earth Angels 👼🏽 ❤
Aww, Sam has such a tender heart. So compassionate ❣️
I think Luke can drive anything. Guess that’s where Wolfie gets his love of machines.
Wolf could not have looked happier sitting in Dad's lap inside the excavator.
Poor Rover. Hope the operation will go well.
Looks like Freddo fell in love 💕🐾
Dear Sam, please don't worry too much about Rover, until he is spay/neutered he might not settle so quickly. It will take some time for Rover and never give up hope that there is a wonderful human family that will give Rover a loving forever home.
Give Ben a hat like Luke and we wouldn’t tell them apart 🦩🌴💕
I think they all 3 look so much alike!!
@@lisacease Throw in Neil the Holisitc vet too.
So true! Ben really looks a lot like Luke.
@@violimo “ Brother from another Mother ?”
Oh Sam, bless you you just have the biggest heart
Poor Rover he had a taste of the good life. I can understand why he didn't want to go back. Pretty sure Rover came to you guys for a reason .
I like Dee! she is very hard working, has a heart of gold and always shows up with boxes of delicious pastries. ♥
And again you guyz pull through for young Rover 🐕💖🐕💖🐕💖you guyz are just AMAZING 👨👩👧👦🥰🐕💖
That is exactly what uncles are supposed to be and do. Excellent.
Sam has the biggest heart🥰.
Yes, great idea to do @TheAustralianDogFarm.
I've suggested it a few times too. They would easily double their subscribers numbers.
Sam said that she's sent videos already, a while back. Hopefully they get picked to be shown.
Poor Rover. He’s going to recover in the best place & then learn to be such a good boy.
Luke and Sam have hearts of gold, and will help any dog in need.
I am getting happy tears what you guys are doing for rover. I know space is getting limited at your farm but how wonderful it is what you are doing for him. You guys are really spreading the magic ❤️💚
@@greyfriars6540 there's also Nevaeh, Hope, Tank and Chopper alongside Chance who are all being fostered by them at the moment.
They have space but what they need is more help. Luke is the only trainer now.
Auntie Sam and Uncle Luke
Will you please keep us updated on Rover?
Another dog in crisis receiving love from you.
He stole my heart and I am guessing that he stole more hearts than mine
Sam you heart is so big. We love you friend🐾❤️
Ahhhhh! Yayyyy! When I read the title I was SOOO hoping it was Rover. ❤️❤️
Lucky lucky boy. I’m so happy for him. Sam I’m always crying when you are crying.
He picked you guys. Clearly and what a lucky boy he is. You guys are amazing. Thank you.
OMG I nearly missed this video on Rover. Made me cry when you both went quiet, then I heard the sniffles. I’m soooo grateful to both of your wisdom, experience, insight & that your both full of compassion!!!! You both truly have the dogs best interest at HEART❣️❣️❣️❣️ Love you guys sooo much ❤
Thank you for video.thank you for Rover and all the dogs too.

For Rover
“JUST ONE MORE”...famous last words!😉🤷🏻♀️💖🐶🥴
Gawwwd I have run out of tissues Sam.🥰🥰🥰. Pleased for Rover it looked like it may be going that way his last visit with you. He has picked his pack.💚💙💜❤
So cute, how much that dog loves Luke. Nice family gathering.
Thank you to you too Susan for taking into your life the 'rescues' 🎄 Seasons greetings 🎄
Sending good thoughts and prayers for Rovers surgery and recovery. Another angel living amongst the pack 🤗❤🙏
Roscoe's calm demeanor is really impressive. He is such a lovely dog! 🥰😍💖😇
I had a set amount I wanted to donate. I used a currency converter to determine how many AUD dollars I needed to enter to equal my USD.
Hi Geraldine, don't worry, Salty Dog is their company's registered name. Greetings from Mairi in Southern Ontario.
