First time of watching something like this...........strangely therapeutic, 27 minutes gone in a flash. A wonderful surprise at the end was to see that it has 8 Sqn markings, which was the first Squadron that i worked on when i joined the RAF, at Lossiemouth. 100,000 rivets flying in close formation. Thanks for posting.
This kit is great. The fuselage cross section is wrongly shaped, but it's hardly noticeable, besides, the great price and detail make up for it, also, amazing work as always!
Beautiful work, I built the same kit but had to use some rattle cans for the major finish. I love looking at works of art because of the creativity of different approaches to the same subject.
Thiis is great ! I remember building one of the earlier kits - I have never seen so many raised rivets on a plane - made decals impossible to apply !! I think I actually prefer the Tail Dragger Shackletons !😍😍
Hi Steven where do you purchase your tool Kits???. I am from New Zealand . Used to be in the RAF and worked on 37 Sqdn Shacks in Aden in 1965 . They are very close to my heart.
Pieter Weatherall My neighbour flew RAF Shackletons, Nimrods and was slated for “Black Buck” but his Vulcan was US😩 I love listening to his stories over a beer or eight🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Great job! I built a 1/72 scale model of the Shackleton made by FROG, a British model maker. It was a very impressive model for its time in the ‘70s. I can see that this Revell kit is definitely much better in detail and accuracy. 👍
this very airplane wasn't employed in Malvinas (Falkland for the Brits) cause RAF flown the Hawker Nimrod. I was a radar operator onboard one of the two Type 42 destroyers used by the Argentinian Navy in that conflict.
Extremely nice. This aeroplane was on my Grail list when I built aircraft kits and the only offering then was the FROG kit which wasn't exactly brilliant and expensive to find then. Now I don't build aircraft anymore we have these Shackleton kits
@13:10... one minute I'm carefully watching a model aircraft being built, the next I have this strange sense of being in orbit w/ little green men chirping at me in an odd language! Beautiful build, btw :)
Airfix is better in terms of plastic and overall detail in the kit but revel is well produced and well used but the airfixShackleton was better. But you have done a fabulous job on this kid and I’m strongly thinking of getting more rebel kits to expand my collection and follow some of the things you do.
I've never seen anyone do a complete flat black base coat on a model before! And I see how you're using it, and all I can say is I'd love to see what it looks like in real life. You have me very curious! It looks really nice.
Great video, I have the same model and used a few of your ideas for this. I was disappointed that some of the parts weren’t numbered correctly and also the whole section for the flight deck floor was twisted on mine which made attaching the fuselage difficult, some bits I just had no idea what is was that Revell expected me to do!
Fantastic build. I wonder why manufacturers choose to make the roundels separate these days, isn't that overcomplicating it a bit trying to put the red dot smak in the middle of the roundel ?
Hello Dusan! :) when you showed that amazing detailed and riveted surface detail i knew i found one of my "ABSOLUTLY MUST BUILD" kits! beautifful! Master work as always! Greeting from Portugal!
Excellent build to watch, I hope to become as good a model maker as this guy. I have this model to build in my stack too. Also what I find unbelievable is that there are still a few people that put a thumbs down. Why? I can't imagine. Nevertheless an awesome build.
If there's anything I can tell you, they probably disliked this vid due to its length. That lot thinks it can be made shorter without sacrificing content. At least, that's what I think they think.
Hello Dusan, I just want to say that you have done a great job on the Shackleton, it is one kit I have been looking at and thinking should or even could I build it ,my interest apart from 1/35th armour is 1/48th aircraft. Once again a great build. Happy Modelling, Les
К заднему фону и тем более к сборке моделей нет претензий, но почему так мало видео у такого талантливого человека как ты? Короче снимай больше видео и удачи тебе!:)
A very nice job on what seems to be a good kit. It''s easily dealt with, but one oddity of the kit is the inclusion of the row of small windows on the starboard rear fuselage. This was not a feature of the AEW.2, but rather I believe of some SAAF MR.3s. The breakdown of the forward fuselage might suggest a MR.3 in the future.

Very very cool!! Thank you very much! All the best! Dusan

You not only did a great job on the kit, but you do a fantastic job of citing the music you use also. Bravo!!
Thank you very much!

One of the all time great Shackleton models.Well done.
Thiis is great ! I remember building one of the earlier kits - I have never seen so many raised rivets on a plane - made decals impossible to apply !! I think I actually prefer the Tail Dragger Shackletons !😍😍
Mines arrived today. Just getting back into model making again. The new tool kits are very good these days.mmi enjoy your videos.

Not that Shackleton's were involved in the Falklands War in any way of course
c8136132 recon and radio operations.
My God, I wonder how many stories your grandfather can tell. Congratulations it is an honor to have in the family a person of such caliber....
this very airplane wasn't employed in Malvinas (Falkland for the Brits) cause RAF flown the Hawker Nimrod.

Clumsy fingers no longer allows such fine work at my age. I have flown on 56 including some of the others, the figures from the magic roundabout.
Airfix is better in terms of plastic and overall detail in the kit but revel is well produced and well used but the airfixShackleton was better. But you have done a fabulous job on this kid and I’m strongly thinking of getting more rebel kits to expand my collection and follow some of the things you do.

Well, a WH40k intro book tells one to use black bases.
Great video, I have the same model and used a few of your ideas for this. I love your videos! Thank you for your hard work
The twin rudders made the aircraft like the Shackleton more stable. That's why the Lancaster & Liberator could carry larger bomb loads, during WW2.
Nice job!
Superb!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing... :)
You are welcome! All the best! Dusan.
Nice work & plane Mr. Revell ! ;)
