Loved seeing everything you got!
Thanks ☺
I love having my mom binder
I’m still trying to figure out what all I want to put in there, but I’m liking it so far.
I agree with adding the erasers. Not sure why but they go down really fast on those pencils. I love the tabs! I never seen those notebooks. Definitely buying them. Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome!
Love that pencil dispenser!
It feels like a good idea
The pencil dispenser is such a fun idea!!!
I’m hopeful they will solve our pencil issues 😅
Hi!
We had a similar pencil situation for a hot minute, too.
I had the kids go through all the pencils and pick one they really liked.
My oldest choose a mechanical pencil for a few years, this least year he liked this short green pencil, then this year he had a red one but with 3-4 different Eraser heads. My 2nd oldest now has about 3 she switches around but, she knows that's all she is getting. If she looses those then she gets one of my choosing and she is not fond of that idea because she likes her colorful ones and she wants to put on her pencil box (not in my teacher book).
I gave them pencil cases (this year my oldest built himself a pencil/pen/marker holder) and when we finished school I reminded them to make sure they put there pencils back in their boxes because it's the only one they have and they need to put it back.
And the times when they can't find their pencil for lessions ( the next time ) I would tell them "well you need to find it because you need to do lessions" and usually after lessions they do something they want to do, eat a fun treat or we go do something if all is finished. So if they don't get done, they do not get to go do the other fun thing.
I know every family is different but, I thought maybe sharing might help in some way❤
I've heard a lot of teachers struggle with the missing pencils too! Hope your methods work this year!!
Sometimes it can take a long time to find a system that works! 😅 Glad you found one, I forgot to mention my husband has been known to take the school pencils too. But I’m hopeful this pencil dispenser will help. 🤞🏼
@@acozyviewI’d be tempted to label the pencils and then they can track what number pencil they get and when it goes missing you know which number it is. Rather than just saying there was 20 now there’s only 15
@@Planner_girl_kel that would be a good idea too!
I’m in the UK. What is a chapter book? Is it just want you call children’s books?
Children’s book that has chapters, like Little House, My Father’s Dragon, Alice in Wonderland, etc. vs. picture books which are the shorter books with pictures on every page, usually geared towards babies/toddlers/preschoolers.
Yep, what she said. ☺
ah ok. We call all of them books
Thats really interesting, I never knew that wasn’t a term everyone used.
