- Ahh, school supplies. What homeschooling mom does not look forward to the start of a new school year with all of those beautiful blank notebooks and freshly sharpened pencils? There’s something about it that fills us with anticipation for a new year of growth and learning. Come along as I take you on a tour of my supplies for our first year of formal lessons. I’ve only been waiting six years for this. :)

I love all of your videos, they're so informative and helpful! I was wondering if you might be able to do a short video about the weaving handicraft that you're going to be doing? My 4 1/2 year old is obsessed with weaving, knitting, stitching (you name it!), but we've only read about weaving in different picture books. :) Thanks so much!

It sure does. I tend to just throw things in drawers!
Our kids are the same age? My daughter is starting Form 1B with the CMEC and my son is 2.5. 😊 This video was just what I needed! I can't figure out the organization yet either. Using the Michaels square scrapbooking containers for now and their bigger locking bin with a handle for most of her daily books and storing everything in our dining room buffet dresser. My friend is going to try the 10 drawer cart and I'm going to wait to see how that works for her before I get one.
My scrapbook containers are from Hobby Lobby. I think they are the same? They have actually been working SO WELL for handicrafts. Everything else I have just been throwing in a drawer. 😂
Hi, I enjoyed this video. I'm also trying to figure out the organizing part for all of the things and I liked the bins you're keeping for handicrafts. Where'd you get those?
It's a challenge for sure. I got them at Hobby Lobby for $4 a piece. They are "scrapbook cases". They have actually worked really well because you can store them vertically on a shelf and just easily pull it out when you need it.

A great walkthrough! It would be good to see an update. I also have a form 1B students and I have realized what things don't work and what do work now that we're about halfway through the year.
