Neighbor Threatens Eldery Couple For Overgrown Lawn

- After the deadly tornado in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2020, many homes were left with extensive damage and debris. An elderly couple, facing difficulties with maintaining their property, found themselves amidst the chaos. They not only lost trees and a car but were also without power for days due to damaged power lines. Their house, located at the back of the neighborhood, was among the last to be cleaned and had an overgrown backyard. I noticed their unkempt lawn while mowing another yard in the neighborhood and felt compelled to help. I went to their door and offered to mow their lawn for free. They were grateful for my kindness, and I was glad to bring a little beauty back to their yard. Here's a video of my efforts to help the community.

I had them living with me so I could take care of them, they could care for each other while I worked at my corporate job. Plus I had my sister-in-law (RN) and my nephew. Nephew got married and it was just my sister-in-law and myself. No matter what was going on, I took care of my lawn!!! But the neighborhood changed for the worse and we didn't feel safe anymore. So we moved. Three dogs and a cat too!!! I'm still in that apartment. I MISS my yard work!!!!

Thank you for treating this senior citizen with grace and kindness. So many seniors are very hesitant to reach out to someone they do not know because they are fearful someone will hurt them or take advantage of them. You gave them back their yard and their safety. Thank you!

What a gift you have given this owner! Hundreds of trees and wild hedge cut and removed. This would have cost them thousands of dollars. I hope they truly appreciated what you did and they have someone to maintain it. It’s a beautiful job!

Totally amazing. Instead of threatening these elderly people as neighbors. How about an hands up and help them. When I lived in a non rural neighborhood I would mow 4 different houses next to me. It's called community pride. He should try it

Don’t take anything away from Al that mowers. He is smaller than this guy. And goes 90 to nothing. He has tackle yards that hasn’t been mowed for 20 years. This guy does good job also.

That was beyond imressive. When you took the tour in the beginning, I estimated 1 day for the front and 5 more for the back. I wasn't too far off, it appears. I can't remember any other lawn transformations on UA-cam that took this much time or effort. You spruced up the front yard and reclaimed a back yard from a jungle. Kudos aplenty!

This has got to be the granddaddy of overgrowth cleanup.I watch these tall grass/overgrowth videos all the time and this one has been mind blowing every minute of the way.
