Love how you capture the scene with thick imposto paint. Reminds me how Vincent Van Gogh would have painted very inspirational. Would love to buy any and all just don’t know how to link onto your sight. Thank you for posting your videos they are greatly appreciated. Rick
Thanks Rick, just one of these pieces is available and there’s a link to them in the description section below this video. Email me if you can’t find it and I’ll send it to you along with a link to other available work. Turner@TurnerVinson.com
Sometimes the canvases you take out of the forest, among the trees, often from rivers and snow come to life with you. (However, the brush is the nobility of oil painting.) You are wonderful.
hola Turner, vives en un autentico paraiso de la naturaleza, y Dios te ha dado un don para saber plasmar su belleza en un luenzo, bueno eso mas tu dedicacion y fuerza de voluntad, enhorabuena.
ill try finger painting some day in spring have some paint left from old school days most need white lot hes relying on the brush to fix mistakes from finger painting never did like blending oils like bob ross did in his
As always beautiful work! Wish I could make your June workshop but will be traveling. Couple questions: Where do you get the large amount of the white oil paint? Also, what easel that you use? Trying to find something for larger work pleinair? Thanks!
Ahh, too bad. Maybe October will work for you, which will likely be in Idaho in the Teton Mountains! On the large can of white, I've had a few weird things happen with it so not sure I'd recommend it. I'm looking at trying Utretch titanium that comes in quarts. And this easel is a Russian style Yarka easel, and they're kind of hard to find. Check ebay. There's a small (too small), medium and large. The one in this video is a large.
That last canvas had some color on it when you started. Do you normally tone your canvases or was that a painting that you scraped back because you weren't happy with it? Nice work by the way!👍
That last one was a painting from the summer that I wasn't happy with and scraped, and then I used that canvas as a pallet in the previous video. I did enjoy it working on it.
Hi, LOVE watching you painting, but am especially missing the, big brush with gloppy pain, moments that have now been replaced with, the finger painting (which, sorry, not a fan of :( Just wondering if you'll ever get back to that, and if you've ever thought about doing a painting with just the pallet knife?
I gotta kick out of you putting white on your palette! Getting cans of white now. Good move.!! I would love to know how much you spend on oil paints every week!! Nice painting too!!❤
El arte en su máxima expresión ....fantastico !

Watching you work, I really like the way the bigger studies and paintings are becoming as loose and painterly as the small studies
Thank you very much!
Love them all, Turner! If I had the money, I wouldn't know which one to choose! XO :D
thank you, Kay!
You are definitely channeling George.
You've swapped the bike for a sleigh.
The paintings look good.
